True. I once saw BlackWhiplash's art and Shadman's I immediately jumped. Never underestimate people's creativity and ability to be versatile in art. I literally had a creeping suspicion at some point that Shadman got released and actually took the time to change his style, manner of speaking, persona/self-insert, and study people's interests now. BlackWhiplash's persona is a woman, and I noticed some people found it weird that a woman would draw these "bad male gaze boo hoo" things (I just hate labelling art styles with gender like what does that even have to do?). Someone said BlackWhiplash was LYING about being a woman and being black. At best, this is prolly just someone "inspired" by Shadman.

This is pretty much how most of the population studies that we  do have on pedophilia have been conducted, actually, including some that did take brain scans.

The main issue isn't really with the 8th Ammendment, it's with sampling bias. Looking at a population of convicted sex offenders isn't totally useless, but it can't really be generalized to answer important questions about the prevalence of pedophilia among adults in general, what percent of those go on to act on their sexual deviance, how many of those who do actually get caught, etc. We have a rough idea of what the risk factors are for pedophiles to commit crimes like child molestation or CSAM possession, along with the characteristics that separate molesters with a clinical diagnosis of pedophilia from non-pedophiles who sexually abuse children for other reasons, but even that has to be taken with a grain of salt because a lot of those (substance use, impulsivity, etc.) are also things that generally make criminals more likely to get themselves arrested.

Even considering the issues with looking at fertility rates divorced from infant and maternal mortality, "14-25" isn't the sort of age range that any serious researcher would use for this subject. It lumps almost the entire period of sexual maturation, with the exception of the first few years, together with the time span between the end of adolescence and before complete neurological maturity.

From a biological perspective, there's absolutely no justification for treating that 11 year period as a single demographic. It's a blatant attempt to draw a moral equivalence between sexual attraction to people at every point in the age range between puberty and full maturity.

To be fair, just about all sex offenders often lack the self awareness and often think of themselves as being built differently as well.
