I distinctly remember Shinji revealing he was a MDE fan near the end of the season which would make sense that he would have a cover story since the fish were supposed to pretend to not be fans early on.

Then again, Shinji can barely speak English so he might not even know what he's saying most of the time.
I think you are misremembering, in the quiz part of the swamp olympics Shinji didn't get a single question right in the MDE trivia.

https://youtu.be/K1bhqaiWHQ0?si=XcSVCl3rPyJqx6DT&t=1637 wasn't aware that Jet and Ben live together... they must really like each others company (it's a gay show).

Reminder that when they first brought the Cell cam back after Bloodgames, it was just lil maejok in a room full of wood chips for days before the actual 'The Cell' mini-season started.
I wouldn't get my hopes up too high. Not sure where but Maejok mentioned previously that he goes by the S3 house regularly. He was also typing up something about coming by the house to fix the bedroom cams when FURT arrived and later to fix the audio:

He seems to enjoy doing this shit, as evident by his night shift shenanigans ;).

does anyone have any archives of burt's return to the house? an archiver i know said "I didn't start recording til they were mostly in the kitchen" so anything before that would be appreciated. this will ultimately help some of the digesters that make videos on youtube.

15 minutes in the new episode, Jimmy is fucking insufferable. I can't imagine living with this faggot for one day, much less 60

First he wrecks the song with his retard voice, which Delaney and Nifty and everyone else fucking killed it on. Then he claims it was his idea to Sam, when it's obvious Delaney did the heavy lifting. If it were Jimmy's song, he'd have wrecked it with needing to be the center of attention (which he tried to do when it was obvious his role was to be a backup singer for Nifty).

Then Jimmy got mad Sam discovered his gay little plot 15 minutes in, so he starts flushing shit down the toilet like a retard.

Jimmy fucking sucked. He made this malaise in the house where everyone was just sad, pathetic sacks of shit and wouldn't contribute to challenges beyond just doing the bare minimum. Jimmy wasn't the content king. Jimmy stole the attention others could have had if they didn't need to babysit this little faggot retard 24/7.

Yeah, remember how once Jimmy was gone, the other contestants were finally able to step up and make the show happen? Oh wait, that never happened.
You can't pin the cast being boring on Jimmy being a spergy weirdo.

This episode is pretty much when my interest in S2 started to wane, watching it live. This is when the meanness of the show, production forced storylines, and lack of effort really started showing and overtaking any entertaining content. It wasn't the end, I don't think I truly stopped watching until the final week or so, but it was the beginning of the end for me,

By that point the Jimmy effect had already taken all the hope and optimism out of the house. You can 1000% pin it on Jimmy. Production at that point was walking on eggshells to avoid another Jimmy situation.

Fishtank revisionists are typically shot on sight, but we are a merciful bunch. I sentence you to watching all of season two post Cole elimination and pre Jimmy elimination so you can re-evaluate your opinions.

It fell off a little after Cole left but it fell off a fucking cliff after Jimmy's 2nd time. It was exactly like in season 3 when the 2.0 stuff flopped so the wiggers just completely gave up and quit trying.

I acknowledge that the show was not produced to the quality the audience deserved, and that if Jimmy weren't there, things would not miraculously get better. But having Jimmy continually go against production and put half effort into challenges to impress his discord group were a common theme across the season that lowered the quality of the show. Keep in mind this was also the cause for sabotaging the arc they had going with the mental hospital.

Summer obviously had a role to play in this as well, but when all this was happening, it was Jimmy going around spurring on 'clues' that they were all in on the joke. Like Ted did in S3

I finished watching E7 and it seemed production had a similar line of thinking. They used Jimmy to drive content throughout the show, and he was typically the one who would set the tone for the other fish for activities going on at the house. It came down to Jimy v Brian. As much hate as Brian got, could you imagine what Jimmy would have done if they brought his sister, or ex girlfriend on the show? He'd lose his fucking mind. Sure Brian complained quite a bit, but he was able to overcome when it came down to it. And when he had disagreements with people, he didn't lay his hands on them without their consent.

It's a tragic story for Jimmy. Watching him say bye to Sam outside and crying that he wanted to make Ben and Jet happy, I felt bad for him. I felt I was being a little harsh for typing my previous message. But then at the end of the show, they let Jimmy back in- and he couldn't stand being picked on by the semi cute autistic girl, cause it reminded him of his childhood rejection- so he resorted to violence...AGAIN. When you look back at how many chances Jimmy got, it's impossible to feel bad for him. Production did everything they could to help him out.
