Sorry, I should have made things a little clearer, and have subsequently edited that post to explain my rationale behind my uneducated opinion.

It's true that LFJ couldn't go after Null, but he could go after Vince. Reason being that if Null knows anything about the settlement that he shouldn't be privy to and he lets slip that he knows, that would imply that Vince has broken the confidentiality agreement.

Given how hypersenstive LFJ is, and how he watches absolutely everything about him like a hawk with what limited eyesight he has remaining, I don't think it's worth the risk of even hinting at an outcome outside of a simple statement saying that it's errverr.
