Bluesky - "Decentralized" Twitter Alternative. Leftist Tranny Hugbox. "Answer" to Elon Musk's "Fascist" Takeover of 𝕏 (Formerly Twitter).

This is a cope common to all people secretly embarrassed of their hobbies or interests. You see it a lot with anime fans, where they try to TL;DR all the deep philosophical underpinnings because they can't admit they just like nip cartoons.

The infamous Rick & Morty copypasta is probably the best example of this phenomenon.
The creator of Evangellion btfo'ing the decades of pseudointellectual fart huffing surrounding his anime by just going "yeah none of the symbolism meant anything, I was just depressed at the time and thought religious stuff looked cool" will forever be the amazing.

I didn't know that but it's very funny because when I rewatched Evangelion as an adult my big takeaway was it comes across like it was written by a depressed guy who just took his first philosophy class. (And also Shinji is fucking insufferable.)

I randomly stumbled onto this months ago. And i still LOL

I always just thought the visuals were sick as fuck and I like big robots. I never took the supposed philosophical musings seriously.

It's okay to just like cartoons without writing a novel about how it's deep and meaningful, it's not highschool anymore.

Wouldn't last long on Bluesky with this opinion, you'd be getting flooded with replies from media literacy 'experts'.
Media literacy experts on their way to call you a retard for not knowing the rape-demon insect monsters blowing up Earth and eating people are actually an allegory for Jews (the author said so in an interview 4 years after the book came out):

This has me thinking...

Haven't corporations made us addicted to technology, promising easy interaction and communication and then flooding us with ads, anxiety, depression, doubt, inferiority complexes, addiction, superficial standards and then they have you pay to use the technology in general?

Also couldn't capitalism work better if there were more competition and more money? If you lucky to have money then consider it power in this world... we took away the laws that managed corruption and greed within capitalism, IE ownership laws, tax cuts, stock buybacks, anti-competitive laws and it started with Regan, continued with Gore, continued with Bush, continued with Obama and it continued with Biden and the two Trump presidencies.

I get it, Twitter is not going anywhere but Kiwi Farms is a better site than Twitter cause it's free and it's filled with real people and you can say all the slurs you want.

This is a political thread right?

Absolutely. The Social Dilemma touched on this and has all these former tech overlords regretting making social media and smart phones as addicting as they are.

If only i could go back in time and snip the ones who had the idea of the iphone.

It’s sorta like a Utopia effect when everything is so perfect and peaceful and we can have every thing we want with a tap of our phone and no hurdles to jump eventually we get bored and miserable and try to live vicariously through other famous people and movements, so like half of it is brought on by ourselves, we can just disconnect and do other things

regarding the farms I actually find it surpisingly pleasant I’ve never seen such civil discussion over games, shows, the paranormal, art, ect the evil racist thing is a faćade that deters bad actors, but like once you show that you’re not just here to be a whiny piss-ant or try to start shit you gain respect and can talk about your differences and people will organically start to accept you over common grounds compared to my former hot spot: art twitter where it’s all drama and forced smiles

and lastly yeah, it is kinda a political watershed thing, people would still be using twitter if harris won

I fully believe the majority of the cunts that overly explain shit and claim to have media literacy were bullied on highschool for liking nerdy shit and still harbor that shame and resentment for the people that made fun of them.

Unsure if anyone else has posted this before, but stumbled upon this account while looking at the current situation of Zelensky being utterly felted on national TV
