A quick internet search would tell them that a caterpillar will die if it is somehow prevented from beginning the metamorphosis phase. Metamorphosis is a fascinating process that's about as close to magic as reality can get. Their entire body turns into primordial goo and reformulates into a butterfly. And yet while this is happening the chrysalis can still react to stimuli. The caterpillar stage is just for gathering the nutrients necessary for metamorphosis. Essentially the caterpillar is an eating machine. It can't do much else. When it's time to begin metamorphosis the caterpillar is compelled to find a good hanging spot. Mother Nature is saying "Time to grow up little fella". If something interrupts the process the caterpillar will not live much longer after.

You can say that again. The game actually looks fun! The physics allow you to crawl upsidedown around branches and shit, like a collect-a-thon Super Mario 64 or Gex, piloted by a xenomorph in AVP.

That was my biggest issue with James Stanfield choosing to start inserting his politics into The AMC Squad: it was and still is a genuinely good, interesting game that does things no one would expect from the EDuke32 engine and has a compelling story.
Sadly, he's decided to become a living gayop, which breaks the fiction of the universe he's made. He's taken the gay flags out in the newest version, but I'm still sad he's willing to compromise his art for politics - and since he explicitly said to me in a DM that he 'wont let his politics remain ambiguous/unsaid', I'm going to have to assume he's always looking for more ways to put shit into his game he knows no one wants.
It's the same thing with all of them; the troons take potentially interesting ideas and plots, then they just... shove their political obsessions into them, doing what they can to alienate potential fans for the sake of... well, pissing people off. No joke, the majority of woketard devs put their politics in their games and stories for the sole purpose of making the "evil fascist right-wing" angry; it's been confirmed in a few interviews, from what I remember.
It's a shame, because they can create some really cool ideas. Take Small Saga, for instance; it's Redwall, set in modern-day London with a slight sci-fi aesthetic and plenty of xenofiction elements. It's a genuinely cool set-up and I was more than willing to drop money on the damn game, but the massive amount of political bullshit made me not; they made every "hero" character into a faggot, the story's some heavy-handed fantasy about the woketards overthrowing the government and killing right-wingers for the sake of anarchy, and they generally throw away what they have interesting in the name of woke pandering. It's pathetic.
It's especially bad, because it's not like it's impossible to create a diverse cast; just look at the older Rainbow Six books or Team Fortress 2. It's entirely possible to make something that can appeal to, if not literally everyone, then most audiences as long as it's handled with care and tact. And yet, most fags don't even bother to try; by their own admission, they only care about trying to attack the people that they don't like, whether it's constantly tranny propaganda down people's throats or ruining everything their kind touches.

Guilty Gear Strive (Medium): Changes to the designs of certain characters might be debatable, like in the case of I-No. There were some sexual innuendos from older games missing from my understanding. Testament is probably also debatable, but no idea really. The biggest issue was the whole Bridget debacle. The character is a boy, but now "identifies" as a woman. Developers leant into this heavily.
In the case of Test specifically he went from very clearly looking like a man:

He went from looking like metal-meets-executioner to just straight up twink bait. Most, but not all people gathering under the Gear umbrella of communities go along with the new Bridget/Test bullshit accepting it as the new norm if not having started playing specifically because of it. There are fringe communities like 'Overdrive Online' (more or less a collection of players banned from the main communities for being le heccin chuds (despite openly gargling tranny cock themselves)) who are still barely sane enough to refer to Bridget/Test as men and say 'retarded' without their heads exploding, though communities like this are few and far between and rife with their own issues (ODO itself having a couple problem posters sharing some incredibly degenerate pornography publicly).
As for I-No, it's the case of double-standards in where you can't sexualize anything (I-No's outfit is far less skimpy, and she doesn't rip her top off anymore as part of her old iconic round win pose), but while simultaneously enabling the degeneracy of the minuscule market of trannies eating the game up for two characters.

No tolerence. Even a Type A and Type B is nonsensical when older games had Male and Female body options. Hence the difference in Soulsborne games customization label before Elden Ring adopted the TypeA/B label.
Blood West should be added to the list. The game begins with a long ass cutscene of a tribal speaking of how the hwite man brought vanity, greed, and ignorance to the land, irritating the spirits into becoming monsters or whatever. And now the land is cursed because of hwitey and their iron horses. Also, there is a point where the narrator is commenting about how ignorant hwitey are, and the cutscene shows a Church.
Also, the guns feel like complete garbage. You can aim at a monster's head, shoot, and somehow miss, then shoot in the exact same position, and get it right. Feels like there is a hidden die roll or something.

i just finished spider -man 2 (wish i found this thread before i bought it and started playing it).
when the game ended and the credits started rolling, i watched some of it. i saw the name "charlie stangle" and it said he was the "senior engine programmer". i thought huh, that sounds pretty cool. he must be a smart guy, im gonna look him up and see what other stuff he's worked on. so i did.
On one hand, there's been events in-game that blatantly favor woke politics, the most notable being a full-blown pro-Democrat event during the 2024 election period with in-game Kamala Harris encouraging people - bear in mind that one of the primary audiences for this game is children - to vote Democrat, as well as an event celebrating Black History month and some other bits like removing cop cars after the George Floyd riots. They also tried to censor the Battle Royal mode a while back by not allowing any characters with visible firearms/ammunition or overt horror aesthetics... in a game mode about shooting each other in the face, which widely got mocked and quickly got reversed.
On the flipside, it is fairly easy to ignore most of it; the woke events were limited-time, and I haven't seen any overt Pride or faggot stuff crammed into the plot as of yet, though I didn't really play the game much during Pride Month, so... The majority of the plots in BR tend to be fairly innocuous; the current one - "Lawless" - is about conducting heists to steal from a Baron wolf named Fletcher Kane. The game tends to lean VERY heavy into the "wacky" side of cosmetics, such as a rapping pickle, and there's several Muslim skins that are mostly available around Ramadan, though the female doesn't always wear a headscarf. Conversely, the Cybertruck has yet to make a re-appearance in the shop despite there being a number of people who want it back, allegedly because it's "glitchy" or something; bear in mind, these "glitches" don't seem to happen to other vehicles.
