Internet Historian Appreciation Thread - The best thing to come out of Austrailia since Mad Max (The original, obviously)

He better focus on storymode because realistically there's no future for the main channel. I think the whole plagiarism incident happened, in the first place, because he simply ran out of ideas, or more specifically, funny internet events that could be turned into a video because everything post 2016 is either a political extremism or too depressing/rage inducing.

His main channel videos even after the whole plagiarism incident still obtain quite a few views in the millions. He'll be fine.

No, I'm not thinking about it from the perspective of some backlash, I'm thinking from the perspective of the content itself. His main channel is supposed to be about internet events or internet culture phenomenons. In 2015 your average internet trend was a boomer's facebook post about his wife - today the average trend is a war crime or mass-stabbings of British kids or Idubbbz saying he will kill all enemies of Allah. Even when he used to take a political topic (like flag hunting) it was very tame and silly and the atmosphere was rather fun. If this flag hunting would happen today somebody would definitely die there and some would be in prison for saying "pepe" on camera.

Who's to say he won't eventually start uploading on the main channel again?

where he go :(

it's been 4 months since any of his channels have published a new video, Incognito and Storymode included, even though he said he had "multiple in the works" in a bunch of his newer ones and has yet to finish the Fancy series. His Twitter's been silent since late January, and this is the only direct comment from him on the situation that I could find from the last half a year (sourced from his Patreon):

I hope he's alright, this stinks of something happening to either him or his team unannounced

During the drought of Internet Historian content,
heres a french vtuber upset over Internet Historian calling out wine pairings.
Fucking insufferable. And the analogy of Nutella and mayo is retarded. Could be that I just really hate these vtubers and thr genuinely worthelss reactions they all do.

I would prefer him to go back to laughing at dumb people, but I think that's gotten a crackdown. Or maybe there's some troll remorse going on. Like Fredrik Knudsen, his highest viewed videos are about Wings of Redemption, Chris-Chan and Terry A Davis, but he's stopped doing those for general idiocy in history that people don't give a shit about. Even his EVE Online video missed out on a lot of stories from players being shits.

IH said he was going to go back to 10 minute videos so he can get them out more frequently, but that was a lie. You're telling me you can't do a video that's just doing Trump memes from both sides for ten minutes? Sounds like an easy payday to me.
