This raises me a couple of questions

Can NWB get in trouble over this? Actual legal trouble i mean, since this is actually invading someones privacy through malware.

Was it wise to reveal his hand like that? Now Chance knows his PC is compromised, he could just format it (if he somehow manages to do this simple task)

I know you're just the archiver, it's a genuine question since i'm not familiar with the american law. Since the video's title is "We're watching you" one could imply you're the ones accessing his stuff.

For example, in my country if one was to do something like that it would get the uploader in huge legal problems, so i don't know if this could actually give Chance some legitimate grounds for a legal action.

It's fascinating in a very weird way. Like a deep dive in his disturbing mind. I don't know if i can handle the cringe, but i'll try.

Also if someone were to find illegal content on his PC through this method, would it be admissible? Or would the authorities just dismiss since it wasn't investigated by them?

Absolutely insane they finally pulled the trigger on this one. My guess was that it was bugged from the beginning by something as simple as CIA-Hole or another inside op giving him free programs disguised with a rootkit or a backdoor end. My other guess is that someone told him to open ports on his PC and they just remote in while he was sleeping/doing whatever and running a screen capture since you can see an FPS counter in some of the videos. Afterwards, just download malware and then wait to pull the trigger on it with running a .bat script or .exe , there's a lot they could've done. I am really hoping because I saw the "Root" screen that they just made an image of his PC and if they found illegal material, went ahead and forwarded it to the authorities since some of his buddies seem to have similar tastes in disgusting acts or behavior. Either way this is finally the foundation for the roof of the house since that junk is now scrap metal lol

I honestly believe it is beyond saving at this point since Raxx will have no idea how to quarantine a computer and actually do the proper process steps to removing malware lmao. He's gonna need a whole new drive and a fresh OS installation which he won't know how to do or will ever learn how to, and at this point who knows if the malware they ran messed with any components by running them at high temps 24/7 since he never dusts the damn computer, or even corrupted his BIOS. Either way that shit is fucked.

I actually think it's more likely that he doesn't have anything illegal on his PC. Don't get me wrong, Chance is 100% a pedophile and he would happily hoard that shit if he could get a hold of it, but he's also really fucking stupid. I don't think a guy who thought you could create extra disk space on your computer out of thin air is tech savvy enough to find that shit without alerting the feds Josh Duggar style.

It’s potentially a violation of the Computer Fraud and Violation Act. Though from the sounds of it the whole process is complicated and would take a lot of time to gather the right evidence to actually be able to take it to court. I couldn’t see any lawyer wanting to step up after reading the contents of Chances computer lol

So is it illegal? Technically yes. Would they ever actually be charged with anything? Probably not. Where you really fuck up is when you pull this sort of thing on government hardware
