ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
Albuquerque police have closed part of Montgomery Boulevard after two deadly shootings and a crash.

Officers were called to the area of Montgomery Park near San Mateo Boulevard around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a shooting.


Shortly after that, police say a vehicle involved in the shooting crashed on Montgomery just east of San Pedro Drive. Police say a second shooting happened after the crash.

Two people, including the suspect were shot to death. A third person was also shot and taken to the hospital.

Homicide detectives have been called out to investigate.

Officers have closed both directions of Montgomery between San Pedro and Louisiana.

Drivers can take either Comanche Road to the south or Osuna Road to the north to get around this.
