Involving CPS is worse than swatting someone, because it just takes one overworked "social worker" having a bad day to decide you've got too much dirty laundry in the hamper or there's just a bit too much trash in the kitchen trashcan and hit you with a bullshit violation. Then it's up to the worker whether the prescribed remedy is "clean it up and I'll be back in a week" all the way through "your children are coming with us, to be put into foster care, fuck you, go whine to a judge for relief in a few months."

For every "CPS did a good job!" story you'll find a dozen "CPS fucked up and ruined my family" stories.

The correct response to any CPS visit is always "may I see your warrant?" followed by "go away until you have one." Then clean up your house top-to-bottom as though the virgin Mary was coming to dinner (while the faggots get their warrant) so that when they come back with their paperwork and their attitude, there won't be jack shit for them to bellyache about.

Of course that all flies out the window if they show up with cops, but in that case do the usual "interaction with law enforcement" procedure: shut the fuck up, answer no questions, consent to no searches, demand your lawyer, then repeat those assertions until they stop asking you questions.

As @curbside2 said, weaponizing CPS is evil. The above should give you an idea why. Ethan got lucky with this one. Very, very lucky.

Caught up with the h3 recent events but was wondering if the general consensus is that ethan is descending into a kind of psychosis due to his drug cocktail of anxiety/tourettes meds combined with ozempic? Guy seems a bit deranged these days.

I mean he was always dumb but he seems paranoid and freaked out.

Agree with @Drama Trauma that they need to simply log off but we all know how that goes.

The only context I'm familiar with giardia is in outdoor activities ie. overnight backpacking. It primarily comes from water contaminated by feces in this context and is rightly feared on the trail. It may not be bad when you can just run to the hospital, I'm not sure, but a friend lost ~30lbs when he came down with giardia halfway through a three week rock climbing trip. There was no easy way to get him out, so he pushed through rather than get a helo evac. Thankfully he's a big guy, for you, and other trip participants were able to shoulder part of his pack load for him. It was pretty rough.

Whether it's from families with pets, farmers, or homesteaders with chickens and pigs, I have never known anyone outside of a wilderness setting to get giardia. Even then it was rare pretty rare. Your kids have gotta be eating shit or your house is fucking nasty to get it some suburban home.

I think it's exactly what the social worker told Ethan - someone that knew Ethan & Hila made the call to CPS (Presumably a mandated reporter like a doctor or teacher; however it could just as easily have been a concerned neighbor or even a relative who saw Ethan bugging out during a livestream).

But for real, Ethan was never "smart" but even drug addled I thought he was smarter than this. Yes, these companies think similarly for a number of reasons but they certainly aren't going out of their way to appease Ethan's takedown requests for non-threatening and mean posts they have no legal responsibility for. And good! Because they would have to do that in perpetuity for every micro-e-celeb who can't take the heat.

It's not like a generealised snark sub named like r/whateversnark, it's specifically r/FauxMoi which likes to complain about da joos and then pretend they're doing it wokely, they used to post a lot about Ethan and Hila but then slowed their roll after legal action

My hard line is at any kind of life ruination. The people who engage in that deserve to be exposed, full legal first name and last name, so they can face justice by authorities. You can call someone a kike faggot all you want, but if you try to rip someone's family apart because you think they're gay on the internet, you deserve the worst.
