I really cant stand Ethan. He seems to appear no mater what social app I happen to be on. I feel like most of his problems would disappear if he just went offline for a while. Why does he broadcast so much? Its not like he has anything to say and clearly is suffering from some kind of neural disease. I'm not a medfag, but I know a bit about veterinary medicine, I have met a human baby before, and I actually watched the video.

• Giardia is common in dogs, especially shelter dogs. Ethan had previously adopted a shelter dog that had giardia, his second, new puppy was having diarrhea and so giardia was suspected and confirmed via a test that took a few days to get back.
• Ethan's child is less than one year old and was also having diarrhea. Diarrhea is common but can be more concerning in a small baby.
• Babies constantly crawl around on the floor and then put their hands and everything else in their mouths. Puppies shed, walk on the floor, and have accidents. Cleaners say "99.9% of germs" for a reason. Even in a very clean house with a very well monitored baby, there is a very real chance a poopoo particle could make its way into the baby's body with zero neglect going on.
• Giardia tests are stool tests and can take 48 hours to return. The dog confirmed giardia, and baby had diarrhea, so logically the baby might have it and treatment might have been started right away.
• In my unprofessional opinion, no reasonable pediatrician would call CPS over diarrhea in a baby and suspected giardia unless there were other red flags.
• Podcasts are audio or video shows where idiots talk about bullshit. Ethan is an anxious hypochondriac. Due to this, on his podcast, he told the above story as though his son for sure had giardia he caught from the puppy before the test was confirmed.
• His son ended up testing negative for everything, it is likely he was having normal digestive upset from transitioning to solid foods and Ethan was being a dramatic hypochondriac.
• Believe it or not, there are more retarded people than Ethan on the internet, and they took this story to mean that he lets his dogs shit all over the floor and all three of his children are deathly ill because they all ate dog shit. One of their somehow even more exceptional followers took this info at face value and had to try to break up a family over something they heard third hand.

TL;DR No children ever had giardia, just a new puppy.

I did find it interesting that Ethan Klein is going after snark subreddits when we know for a fact he was a regular browser of r/trishyland, a snark subreddit that got banned for the exact sort of stuff he's criticizing snark subreddits for now.

this was my exact thought!! back when ethan had his one-sided beef with trish, there were multiple instances of ethan showing he browsed r/trishland regularly, a subreddit that discussed calling cps (and possibly did) about Trish's unborn baby, as well as doxxed her OBGYN office, and many other instances of cowtipping & harrasment.
