She randomly breaks into tears several times throughout the interview but it's always at random moments without a cause at set intervals and it feels fake as hell
almost like she learned tears get her off scot free

I’m slightly addicted to “the GOAT of repos” on YouTube, one Eben Reed.

This is a deadly calm and unsmiling Jamaican-American gentleman, who drives a Ford tow truck around Cleveland Ohio, repossessing the vehicles of his fellow brother with total dispassion and extreme skill.
It is a joy to watch.



You might think this is set up or staged, but it’s not.

A welcome change from the body cam videos. I presume they have GPS trackers placed on cars they sell to people with credit ratings below 100 - that's how he finds them so fast?

It appears to be a whole industry in the hood. This woman, for example, picked up a 2020 Camry, which retails for *maybe* $20k, and entered into a THIRTY-FIVE YEAR payment plan which will result in her paying more than $250,000

So, suffice to say, they don't trust her, and there's probably a good reason for that.

I wonder how the economics of this business model work, for the dealer:
- They buy the car at auction and fit a GPS tracker. Maybe a $12,000 investment.
- They sell it to an idiot with high time preference (hopefully the dealer has a jar full of marshmallows on his desk - the symbology of that would be epic).
- How many months, on average, does it take before she stops paying? Maybe six? That seems like a stretch. But let's say they get $3600 from her.
- They take the car back, they clean it out - use a lot of air freshener, and put it back on the lot.

People assume the dealership is scamming the buyers but after they pay for the GPS and the repo man and the cost of cleaning, and often probably have to make repairs - it seems to me they have to sell the car five times before they even start making a profit!

Imagine living in a world where felony charges are so minor an issue that you can't even remember them.

We had to read Kafka's "The Trial" in high school. The main character is harassed by a mysterious organization that wont give him details on the crime he's accused of or the process he faces. This drives him insane.

Someone should write a parody of it, but the main character is a black woman who doesn't give a single fuck. In the book, the main character is told to go to court, but not told the address or the time. He nonetheless takes great pains to be there. In the parody, Sha'niqua is told to go to court and says "fuck that" and gets her nails did.

I enjoy the niggers in the comments coping about "how do you know these people aren't just on hard times"? If it gets to the point they send a fucking repo man to jack your car like this, you're so far beyond any sort of grace period that it's clear you aren't struggling. You're a fucking loser and you're gonna get your shit taken away.

I had to call the local Social Security office this week and expected to get a large black woman but to my surprise and gratitude a youngish white man answered the phone. He solved my issue and wished me luck with the DMV.

My 95 year old mum needs a star ID and I’m trying to get all the documents needed for that. Those fat black DMV women can be and are capricious and there’s no arguing. Also I have encountered couldn’t be arsed to care about strictly crossing every t etc. Good enough for government work yeah.
