Appropriate, given that the Cybertruck looks like it was designed for JC Denton.

Incorrect, the Cybertruck was designed under the same engine that was used in Battlezone, an 80's tank sim.

The similarities are too big for being a coincidence, I tell you!

It's not a mistake. His wealth depends on people throwing money at him, and people wouldn't be throwing money at him if he hadn't built this image of a genious rocketman and saviour of humanity.
Well yeah back when he had a god tier PR team that money can buy, it gave the illusion of being seen as smart, but that strategy fails when he decided to be authentic which allowed people to see that he's an idiotic autistic kid that should probably never be trusted with other people's money.

The thing is, when I played Deus Ex, I was a teenager, but Musk already was a 30 something boomer when it was the cool thing to play. For him, it should be the Deckard Blade Runner Gun, but it isn't, because he's hardcore invested in the manchild image while also just being one.

And I'm not saying having that on your night stand and wearing brown trench coats instead of black is any less cringe - I'm just noooticing things again.

Everything seems off and forced about the guy, it doesn't stop.
With Elon I think a lot of people (myself included) get the feeling that he isn't genuinely interested in any of these hobbies apart from how the perception of him being involved in these hobbies makes people give him attention and boost his ego. So yeah, it is definitely forced. What hurts him is when people realize how conventional and boring he is as a person.

Yeah, but that's political sperging again. If it's the best sat-interwebs, I want it. People VOTED elon's gang into office, but I'm not cancelling my u.s. citizenship over that either, voting with you wallet is almost idealistic, because you still need the goods, not matter what cuckoo asshole "owns" shit and takes a cut. Tesla cars just suck, there's no reason to buy 'em safe for stanning elon. And his rockets I don't personally need at all - not in that market. But if I was for some reason stuck in the middle of bumfucknowhere, imma use the best red american sat-net available. These people need to be ousted by other means, if push comes to shove... Just sayin'

Likewise, X just sucks, so I'm not using it much, safe for lurking.

I do "need the goods" as i primarily live in a place that has zero cellphone coverage and only TelMex DSL that goes down all the time every time it rains or we get pounded in the ass by a hurricaine. If not for me, for a family business to place our orders. But I am so MATI that I just drive to the next town and use my cell or go place my orders in person.

Had a moment of weakness where we attempted to activate a terminal someone got on craigslist but that person never took it off their account and that was that. Good luck contacting spacex. Wont be doing it from Twitter/X when youre banned there. That just pisses me off even more. I dont want to go crawling to this asshole who banned me from social media over literally nothing and give him a dime for anything but thats just me.

without saying too much, im solely responsible for getting food water and supplies in for my whole entire town when SHTF a few times a year, but nope, im shunned forever and ever and ever for things that elon himself tweets out now. maybe i didnt hitlerpost or niggerpost enough to get a blue checkmark on X but hey im willing to try! the idea of giving him money for starlink is just insulting to me even if we do "need" it.

Now im waiting for Project Kuiper or, i guess, any competitor whose name is not starlink. We just go without and touch whatevers left of the grass when the internets down.

If i had a point to make, its that buying twitter was a dumb decision. people would be right to not take kindly to their unjust suspensions over total bullshit and reject all things musk..... and i think hes underestimated the impact of that... said it before, ill say it again: i dont need a soapbox to dole out shit political takes, i knew most of my connections IRL.. Three died and I didnt have their contact info outside of X. Never got to say goodbye. Yeah. I am pissed off enough to reject all of his businesses until they get rid of him.

I’m at best neutral on the politics and DOGE, thing is I can’t even participate in the discussion constructively , or even passively read whatever contradictory and confusing business rules they’ve made up for the day (example: announcing changes to Beneficial Ownership Information on Xitter.) ….. maybe I can read something relevant on Xcancel or Nitter today. Maybe they’ll block them again tomorrow. I don’t think govt agencies should be allowed to make announcements behind a paywall that millions of Americans are now banned for life from over some bullshit. I do have something to about it if and where I am able to do so, and KF , at least for now, is one of these places. Null takes more arrows for the first amendment than Xitter likes to pretend that it does.

I almost envy the people who have found other ways to express their dissatisfaction 🔥 … but I think airing this stuff , wherever I happen to be “allowed” to , still has its utility. Especially faced with a company that does whatever it can to silence and censor or intimidate its detractors or anyone who has some shit to say about their behavior. If that’s my reaction to being silenced or unheard , at least it’s not the worst reaction they’re getting at the moment …..

Ironically if Musk didn't take over Tesla it could be the world's biggest company without being hyped which shows how bad his management would be.

The original Founders were actual geniuses who invented the first decent electric cars. Musk hasn't been able to make anything since other than Cyber Truck.

Telsa could have been the iPhone of cars. No doubt they could have produced very affordable electric cars that make you look high status and get shilled by the government due to climate change. Musk destroyed this opportunity by his lack of engineering skills and focusing on lies like self driving cars and going to Mars instead of focusing on building better cars and acting normal.

Please do not slander or sully the good name of Deus Ex: GOTY by associating it with Elon Musk. He plays Deus Ex: HR (more like human resources lol) and isn't worthy of the OG game.

nigga literally should've just said:
"I spent the past decade hiring the best and brightest at my companies, so although I am not on the ground as much as I usually am and have to be more resourceful with my time, I have full trust in my engineering and management staff at all of my companies"
When his company got sued over the giant compensation package he was receiving, they basically kept arguing he really was that valuable and had a golden touch of sorts. If he suddenly went "yeah I got great employees running my stuff" it'd be hard to argue he should get similar compensation packages in the future or that the previous case was inappropriate.

I mean, it's not wrong. The overblown valuation of Tesla is based on midwits thinking Musk is a giga-genius. Even after losing half of its market cap this year, it's still worth more than the next ten biggest automakers combined. That's why they can't replace their CEO with someone normal. The only thing Tesla can do at this point is collapse (and then probably get a $1 trillion bailout from Donald Trump because it's critical American infrastructure or something).

These "midwits" that Elon has fooled run mutual funds and hedge funds that have trillions of dollars of assets. I don't say this to imply you are wrong, but to accuse the people at the top of our financial system of being almost as idiotic as the average Elon Musk fanboy. Which is frightening.

I'm still waiting for him to fuck up the Roadster... he's only been teasing it for close to a decade now
He could've released it several times already, but it absolutely has to have the more biggerer numbers than the Rimac and the glut of chink hyper EVs so he stuck his dick in the beehive by promising a one second 0-60. Turns out that it's actually physically impossible unless you have those superglue drag slicks that are gone after a handful of launches or some other shenanigans to massively increase available grip, I recall some retarded plans about a jet of compressed air for extra thrust off the line. I'm sure the physics for that aren't astoundingly retarded because why else would le real life tony stark ever suggest that.

They are that retarded. They believed in a machine that could identify any ailment in your body using one single blood drop as a sample. these people are objectively brain-dead low-IQ retards.

They have all the money in the world because they inherited it from their grand-grand-grand-parents.
