These videos hit differently when the soundtrack is something other than post-punk, nu-metal, or drill rap. Having a soundtrack at all is sort of funny as a default aesthetic choice. For all that the anointed operators talk about civilians LARPing, whenever they get to produce their own content, they themselves are LARPing the aesthetics of a movie or videogame.

There would be, if you read between the lines in some guys who retired recently. Private accounts are another story. Syria and Kurdistan are heavily rotated. Not sure into what's the current situation there though.
