Just a matter of time until Australia and New Zealand try this shit too.
They already tried after Christchurch.

I know everyone thinks that Australia and New Zealand are headed down the same path but I don't think anyone who doesn't come from here understands just how lazy and half-arsed our leadership are, and always have been. Keeping a ban in place requires effort, so make a big media show about it, keep the ban going for 3 months than just drop the entire issue quietly because no-one remembers or currently gives a shit.

Tyranny requires an effort Australia and New Zealand lack.

I must ask a question. Can the Bloodcoats go after VPNs next seriously? I know they can do gay limp wristed shit like this, but can they ban or take down VPN from the country? If the Bloodcoats wanted to go full bore. What is the next step?
No. I don't even think anyone in government knows what a VPN is. This 'gay limp wristed shit' is all they're capable of doing. In the UK news thread and myself earlier in this one pointed out the similarity of the letter to what people who don't pay the TV licence get. It's just a threat, which would then likely get followed up by a threat of 'enforcement', then a final warning threatening severe consequences before they start from the beginning again under the guise of "Sorry we came on a little too strong". Null posted his publicly but it's likely every website admin's email they could scrounge up under the sun was sent one too, including the big websites like Facebook and shit to the relatively small ones like the farms. The entire system the government relies on is the illusion of competency and omnipresence, but they're both lies that become more apparent by the day. The government was brought to its knees by a couple months of disorganised protests and rioting, who would believe that they have an apparatus capable of policing the internet globally?

As another user said this is either a scheme to extract fine money, which is likely but Ofcom rarely dole those out as is. I personally think it's a way to scare various websites into self-policing for free on behalf of the British government, potentially sending IP addresses of 'risky' users from the UK, but even that might be giving them too much credit as to what they're actually allowed to ask for. Ofcom can give out fines and the new act allows them to block websites, but I don't think they're even capable of collecting the information that a 'risk assessment' might entail, and if they imply otherwise it's definitely a bluff. Even now as I read through it, I think their sole prerogative is to make sure that really surface level, straight up illegal shit which Null already bans isn't on the site; the scope otherwise is far too broad and vague.

I fucking hate the UK nigger government, too many pakis getting upset over words.
I'm sure they will eventually go after vpn users.

I won't fed post but I'm thinking things to see if the thought police come to houses looking for me.

"Classification: CONFIDENTIAL"
nobody cares about your wretched, dying nation - including the people living in it.

Correct

So they aren't planning to fight the naughty sites over the content--but over bureaucratic compliance with glorified TPS reports. It's the gayest way possible to do censorship.
These limey faggots are like if Bill Lumbergh was a country.

Hey, you bongs. The Gunpowder Plot got found out and the plotters arrested.

Don't let that happen next time.
Where's the last man to enter Parliament with honest intentions when we really need him?
I wouldn't be surprised if what Bongistan is doing is a beta test of what will be pushed by the EU Commission months or years from now.
I can almost guarantee when the EU does something, it will be even more insanely idiotic. That might trigger Polexit. Or maybe the "dictator" Viktor Orban will finally reach his breaking point.

Remember, if the EU does that, any country that tells them to fuck off and leaves will nearly instantly be the kings of an Internet market vacuum.
Null posted his publicly but it's likely every website admin's email they could scrounge up under the sun was sent one too, including the big websites like Facebook and shit to the relatively small ones like the farms.
I'm not sure. Britbong (Dominic Vanner) says he snitched us out, and I'd be amazed if other dickless cunts didn't as well.

For instance, patriots.win says they haven't received one, although you'd think they'd be in the hit list.

But Gab did (and Torba told them to go fuck themselves through counsel).

Just keep that cunt Dan Andrews away from any real power. During the coof, he gave off real Führer-esque vibes.
What the guy who left political office 2 years ago and has been laying low ever since?

I am sure he's going to sacrifice the extra dollars he's picking up in speeches and consultant jobs to make sure Victorians can't sneeze on each other at the TAB.

Political office in Australia isn't about power, it is a dress rehearsal for a bludgey consultancy after you step down. Everything Dan Andrew's did was aiming for that end, it was never about keeping you from getting munted and munching on parmies. He's got exactly what he wanted and as much as you hate him he didn't fail because he isn't on Sky news grifting a living like Latham, Kelly and others who fucked up their cushy job after politics audition. Bad news; he won, he's got what he wanted. Good news; He's got what he wanted, the cunt aint coming back.

and yet not a single politician was lynched? the royal family still sipping on tea? big ben still stands? 1,500+ mosques? what did you burn down again? seems like you didnt do jack shit.
I hate this logic, and you should know better against using it. Any pushback against the government can be downplayed if you highlight the extremes that weren't pursued and the fact problems are still present. If you're American, which you might not be so I apologise for making the assumption, but you can just as easily turn it around if you rewind the clock 5 years to Biden winning and use Jan 6.

"Immigrants still coming in by the millions? Taxes being raised to give illegals free healthcare? Sanctuary cities? Still worship blacks? What capitol did you storm again? Seems like you didn't do jack shit."

See how easy it is? You could apply it anywhere, everywhere. Getting mad at a country whose people are only just finding out they were slow boiled into becoming a Muzzie hellscape is just so needlessly bitter, and I've given a long ass explanation in another thread why it took so long. But to sum: pretty much everyone using this website is in a percentile so above the average person in how they use the internet it seriously cannot be understated. Most people would only consume news from legacy sources in the UK prior to Covid lockdowns on TV, the internet being a purely recreational thing or used for communication. The lockdowns put people in a position where they were forced to use the internet more, thus expanding their field of where on where they get their info.

Null receiving this letter at all should tell you that the government is fucking scared of its citizens becoming more 'aware' and hope they can ban non-compliant websites by May, assuming that's the motive. It's either that or it's just lip service to stop 'violence against women' since they're trying in real time to pin the Southport stabber (the guy who caused us to 'burn down' the country last year) into being an Andrew Tate fan and thus this whole spiel with Ofcom being scattershot against every website they can is to give the illusion of action.

Stop needlessly being a cunt. America is getting better after 4 years of looking like it was stuck in a permanent downward spiral, and I'm happy for them. Everywhere else is just dragging their feet for a complex web or reasons, but it really is inevitable.

It's astonishing how much censorship and thought policing the UK government imposes on its own citizens, I honestly understand why all BritBongs are such miserable fucks, their women get raped by pakis, they can barely afford food and if you complain they throw you in jail, with the amount of brainwashing and apathy going on i dont think there's any hope for them.

The UK is near it's death in being taken over.... Now we wait for the french....
Britain, Germany and France are all too far gone in my opinion, between the uncontrolled mass nigger importation, and the government actively working against it's actual citizens, prosecuting them for """harmful speech"""" and other utter nonsense.
if any of these countries managed to recover, its gonna be a long and painful process precipitated by civil war, but i dont find this scenario likely.
