Plagued /r/TNOmod and the Reddit HOI4 modding community - When a subreddit for a video game mod turns to utter insanity

Red Dusk's Lead US devs appeared to have ditched the project, resulting in the US content for the "Across the Atlantic" Update being canned for the time being. Which kinda makes the name of the update now Pointless, As the UK will be the only country getting content. Also one of the Admins has been doomposting about the Mod, which understandably doesn't help with moral let's say.

*Quick Edit: I knew one of the former devs who apparently worked on UK content, depending on what comes out with the final product, there may be entire paths cut from the UK, which i will share here if i get the chance. Since from what i was told, some of these paths would've been extremely interesting.

Dunno if anybody keeps up with the slightly more """"""""niche"""""""" parts of the community but the Modernity Collective has been acting really odd recently they've cut ToTA off of their mod list and on top of that two of the head owners of the collective June and Noobber apparently entered the ToTA devcord since they were previously in it as devs and erased channels which is a bummer honestly cause they were in the middle of working on their 2ACW update. There is multiple instances actually of them doing things like this i.e. Encyclopedia Esoterica (the people who went after muppetfan) was attacked by them and also supported whatever happened with muppetfan's mod or what not. The make of them mostly is like 14 to 16 year olds who have nothing better to do than ruin people's work and stifle people with a fake platform to share mods.

Here's some screenshots of their reasoning and just their other antics like harassing other devs in their collective and the aftermath of the ToTA dev server raid a lot of it is for the most part doesn't have much if any basing at all as to justifying their motives honestly.

Apparently Pat Buchanan would've been the most Authoritarian President that you could get (With his terms resulting in increased authoritarianism)

one of Donald Trump's Paths apparently was originally going to be a secret one where he did a coup or something ( and basically go Dark MAGA) but it was scrapped well before the US devs left. Honestly most of the stuff my source has forgotten (He thought he had the old google doc for candidates saved but clearly didn't, so oof) But as the original announcement said, There would've been content right up to the late 2000's (So you're looking at 8 - 10 years worth of content) with different Possible candidates etc.. for different Terms (So Reform, Republican and Democrat) for the 2000, 2004, 2008 Elections.

This shit would've actually been cool as fuck. Let's just hope that the UK content comes out.

Yeah, Twilight of The Anthropocene. They promised a lot about being an alt-hist WW2 mod set in the early 2000s, with a UI that mimicked Windows XP's, but when it released it ended up being little more than a toozer

Oh, that mod. I only know about it since it's the mod with Jagmeet Singh in India instead of Canada. Honestly, it looks like it's trying to appeal to modern zoomzooms who don't know what the early internet was like.

That's probably what it was, honestly. It even had a Japan that avoided the Lost Decades and the Soviet Union was still a thing, all of that appeals to the main zoomer demographic that's obsessed with the time period: Troons. With most of the dev team being troons the mod was ruined from the start.

TFR is in the middle of a classic HoI4 modding coup-larp incident. Looks like Czar, who was appointed lead dev after Titor stepped down, is purging the team in response to other members of the team attempting to take over the mod, something like that. Remains to be seen how much damage this causes, if Czar is successful or if this backfires on him.

Shame, they had a pretty good run of it.

Czar also rehired a former dev named "Cobblestone" in secret (now goes by Azrael while trying to stay hidden) who was booted out years ago for generally being a fucking retard and unironic Patriot Front LARPer despite being fucking Latino.

Czar, just come to your fucking senses and smooth things out. The mod hasn't even been out for a year. You are hitting megalomania levels the likes of which has not been seen in years in HOI4 modding.
