I think once this costs Kanye some actual money and he's broke and begging for change that's when he will say exactly that. I can intellectually agree with that if he wanted to make a point about black people and antisemitism he's doing it quite well. It's to the point that no one has outright challenged him and he's taking it to such extremes.

But once he does cop to it (April Fools?) then it's the real damage because people will only associate him with the stunt. He's only doing this to himself, not anyone else.

It's the same with Musk honestly. He's a billionaire though so whatever loss he suffers he can lick his wounds and try another grift. Even if Tesla folds it won't stop Elon Musk from being himself. Kanye in a strange way has picked the one issue that no one dares to challenge him on, he's making bank off the controversy, and we get to watch the spectacle live.
