Take the other 39,537.5 that is assumed profit and subtract the losses (half again), leaves him with that same 19,786.75 as profit.
Combined with the bits ($15315.90) he grossed around $35,084.65
This may seem like a lot, before you consider HALF going to the Jannies.

The only reason he bothered to play it is because he was sponsored and had it given to him by Ubisoft. He's trying to have it both ways where he does a smarmy "Technically I have played it more than I was paid to and I wasn't paid to say that!" then uses this to say he isn't sponsored or otherwise biased in the way people are implying. He was paid to play the game and is deliberately misleading about it. He understands what those 2 people were saying and was intentionally obtuse. He's a disingenuous shill.

Yeah 70/30 sounds right. I think if you hit a subscription goal tier above so many they automatically give you a better cut as a way to encourage you to get people to sub to you more.

Quite frankly, by the time he was partnered, the days of the 70/30 split were LONG gone
Maldy had his rise to fame in Sept-October of 2023 according to twitchstats and twitch OFFICIALLY ended the 70/30 split in June of 2023. But in all honesty, it was phased out long before it was officially ended.
It's entirely likely he was partnered before this happened, but based on my experience working with twitch streamers, unless you were pulling multi-thousands of viewers on a daily basis, you got the 50/50. Many of the streamers I worked with pulled anywhere from 200-2k streamers, depending, and NONE of them had the 70/30 split. It was discussed as a mythical thing that no one actually had. This was 2021-2022.

I give it around a 0.05% chance that he got the 70/30 split.

I have no proof, but I suspect he abuses this system for exposure. Whenever people throw subs and money at him, he uses it to buy more subs/donos to greatly inflate the true number and create some buzz about his channel.
