Furry Convention Drama - Because you can't have a couple thousand dog fucking enthusiasts under the same roof without shit hitting the fan

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Anyway, back to Con Drama. I've been seeing this one float around a couple of places, but it's yet to be properly archived, so fuck it, I'll do it.

Last weekend was Furnal Equinox. During the convention, some furries started littering convention space with Antifa stickers. When con staff noticed, they responded by confiscating the stickers, which caused a bunch of Antifa larpers over on Bluesky and Mastodon to melt the fuck down.

But don't take my word for it, here's a wall of text "Flipp" wrote on Mastodon about how terrible the con staff are for removing political stickers.

TLDR: Flipp was called into the safety office after staff discovered they had been throwing Antifa stickers around the con. Staff informed them that the stickers were being removed due to their political nature. Flipp responded by ranting about fascism and law enforcement, staff laughed at them. Flipp then accused them of being fascists; a staff member reportedly replied by saying they were Jewish and that the Antifa messaging wasn’t considered relevant in Canada in the first place. During the exchange, a friend of Flipp's accidentally dropped their glasses and scratched the lens, somehow this is the staff's fault. Flipp was also asked to remove Antifa stickers from their walking cane, which Flipp said was disability discrimination.

They reposted the same story on Bluesky and have been doubling down on it across dozens of posts at this point. I'm not going to bother linking it because I don't want to give them any more attention for their spergout, but if you're wondering who would write up a wall of text like that, it's pretty much exactly the type of person you'd expect:

Crossing over from the Lumin City thread where they commissioned an antifa sticker from Hearthfox.
Doing some research, it appears HearthFox likely did take Lumin City's commission unknowing of Lumin City's online presence since Lumin's infamy is spread thin around Twitter much to everyone's dismay or simply not caring about Lumin City's infamy in the fandom.

On December 2nd, Hearthfox would announce that he would be taking a batch of Antifa icons. Now, it seems like I can't find individual posts for the icons because Hearthfox seemingly posts these announcements and no commissions.

a quick glance into the comments shows none other than Lumin City as the first comment.

While I was looking into HearthFoxes content to see if I could find further information, I found something else interesting!

One thing to note is the Protogen I've chosen to highlight in this frame of the Bluesky announcement for another batch of Antifa icons. Turns out it is none other than Elite Shark Maniac, the most well known orbited/groomed victim of pedozoo tranny ithole ZrCalo who at one point called himself a zoophile, the one thing HearthFox claims to not want in any of his spaces. Small world!
Hearthfox and followers reacted to FE taking down the stickers as you expect.

From their Telegram:

From their Bluesky. Attached is the full Bluesky Thread with the image of the cane. You need to sign in to see it. But it is already captured in Pinball's Capture so you aren't missing much.

The claim that con staff tried taking away their cane sounds like "muh 6 gorillion skin lampshades" and was instead they said to remove the sticker like Pinball said.

For once I just wish these new crops of civil disobedient types would stop fucking complaining when folks push back. Yeah, you might not be fire bombing Teslas but you are wasting time and money when they have staff attempting to find all the "hidden mickey" stickers.
i find the juxtaposition between their supposed ideals, and their reaction to pushback, to be hilarious

>i'm a scaaary masked revolutionary, so epic and tough, fear me!
>t-they took down my stickers i'm feeling so unsafe right now

>i'm out here rebelling against the power and making controversial and unpopular statements
>the power disapproved of my actions? w-wha-huh-wha-huh-whaaaaaaaaa? i-i dun get it? but this is all common sense stuff!

At this point every hotel and convention space should have a babyproof esque program they run when they sign up with a furry conventions
Tightly secure the smoke detectors, disable the escalators, maybe a nice big plastic tarp on all the furniture... You know, just in case
Normally if unsupervised animals run around destroying stuff they get thrown in bags and then put down.
"Somebody did a thing literally 12 years ago so how is this not allowed now!!!!"

Aren't these the same retards that want to constantly pretend history didn't happen and should be completely forgotten and never mentioned but now they're actually shocked when something changes (in a way they want, because they apparently went from allowing retards in "nazi" costumes to walk around to not allowing retards with retard stickers).

first of "aren't these the same people that-" is usually a dumb thing to claim unless you know those same exact individuals actually hold those contradictory beliefs
to just assume that they must, because you associate the group they belong to with a set of ideas that they may be likely to hold, and then use it as some kinda gotcha that hinges entirely on your headcanon being true is a recipe for weaving a very retarded set of statements

but secondly, no, these people are acting perfectly in line for someone who regularly holds onto grudges forever, their statements aren't contradictory, they're exactly fitting and these people aren't shocked that something changed, they're implying nothing did
in your eyes, allowing nazi furs and allowing antifa fags is the same thing- political LARPing, and so the con previously permitting it whereas now it's disallowed is a change in policy
but to them these two sides aren't just two groups of highly autistic children playing military dress up, but rather two completely serious enemy parties, them permitting one in the past and now opposing another is them 'siding' with the "nazis"

History would have turned out a lot different if George Washington had pulled out his phone and done an angry tweet thread instead of attacking the British army when told he wasn't allowed to vote.

I know of Flipp, not surprised he did this shit. I have a few of his Telegram messages I could share. What's the best way to share them on here? Mobile only for right now.

I love how Flipp pretends Antifa isn't a network of terrorist cells. They have carried out several terrorist attacks already. Andy Ngo's book Unmasked goes over how they have combat training camps, teach you how to dox & harass enemies etc.

Also, the 3 arrows are a symbol of an old social democratic paramilitary that resisted communism. Almost all Antifa groups are Anarcho-Communist. LMAO.
