This is just insulting to Terry. Terry was all about low level "make games don't play them". Meanwhile Jason is puttering around GameMaker, failing to make games.

@Dr. Ricearoni mentioned why Terry is brough up, as the two are nowhere similar as you pointed out. One being a nepo hired streamer and the other a insightful, intelligent and talented programmer who made games to compliment a entire operating system with it's own language not as a focal point, but as a demonstration of it's capabilities. WANTS you to view him as. Us recognizing that caused Jason T hall to have a panic attack. Charlatan who uses other peoples talents and insecurities to boost himself.
When Hall streams, he plays a game for 12 hours to make an income and satisfy his impulsive need to play video games and to get validation from people. Likely why his marriage failed and why he chose to cheat. Watching archives of Terry's streams, he might get sidetracked, but you watch it and are there to watch him work on code. And next stream you can tell he tweaked code on his off time. The viewer interaction isn't the focal point nor a priority, he is there to share what he is passionate about, vent or interact with people a bit and let you see him work on his legacy in real time, that is heart warming and genuine which is what makes him so likeable in my eyes. Terry told a fan to fuck off when interrupted in his bible reading recording, but when he was referred to as "King Terry", a reference to his streams, Terry changed in the blink of an eye, and even apologized multiple times.
That genuine human connection, dedication to the profession of coding and a labor of love that is TempleOS is what makes Terry 10x the man Jason T Hall can only aspire to poorly imitate.
Temple OS is a vestige of Terry's soul still alive today and possibly for a long long time to come. Hearbound will die once Jasons house of cards crumbles.
Also Terry would beat the shit out of Jason T Hall in a ring any day any time without training.
