Okay well, i was going to hold off until the update came out for Red Dusk. But my Buddy as i mentioned worked on the UK prior to being sacked from the team. He was working on the Far right stuff and the Far left content for the UK. Considering they've confirmed it's been scrapped (And my friend having spoken to somebody prior to this, confirming the Far left stuff was scrapped) I think i can share with you guys what was meant to be included in this. I've summed up what i've been told over the past few weeks etc.. so bear with me if some parts don't make too much sense.
Far Left:
Alright so, There was apparently meant to be a sort of Mechanic within the Labour Party (And within the Tories if you get them) where you have to appease certain wings of your party if you want to maintain their support and governmental stability. Angering them enough will result in other candidates being possible. this was the original idea. Galloway was meant to be the Far Left Candidate within Labour. You get him and he was meant to begin implementing Socialist Policies that would eventually lead to one of two final decisions.
The Player was meant to
either hand over Northern Ireland or Do a referendum on the British Monarchy. Each of these Options would result in a British Civil war with different aspects.
Far Left Path wasn't too far planned from what i was told, But it would result in the establishment of a Communist Britain, with varying final Chairmen that could run it (Yes, Jeremy Corbyn was planned to be a possible contender)
You would also have either joined the Soviets as an Ally or done your own thing.
Far Right/White Army Paths:
Alright so remember how i mentioned the British civil war, So the original plan was that you'd have the Socialists on one side and the "White Army" Made up of Conservatives, Nationalists etc.., Basically your run of the mil Anti-Communist Big Tent. The White Army would get options to work with the Far right through events that would result in them being a possible winner of the Post Civil war elections. I will touch on that in a moment. First, If you went down the focus to do the Monarchy Referendum, then Nigel Farage would be the winner of a Post Civil war election as he would be running the White Army/Conservative Resistance, Thats as far as they apparently got for that.
However, For the Northern Ireland focus, That would be the one that results in the Military being in charge and can either Declare an Absolute Monarchy upon victory or they can hold free elections. During the Civil war, the British National Party grows and they provide assistance, either Militia units or equipment (And using ties to Loyalist Groups in NI) If you work with them too much, then Fascism Popularity grows and then during the elections, they become a option you can pick.
The British National Party path was apparently thought out when TFR was teasing their Atomwaffen content, as such, My friend said he was wanting to push limits with what can be shown off in a HOI4 mod. The BNP would have a party inner struggle mechanic, You'd start off with Nick Griffin being the face of the Strasserists, If he gets ousted then you would either pick Gary Raikes (The Mosleyites) or John Tyndall (Hardline NS guys, Btw Tyndall is alive at this point and dies as you do the Focus. With the reigns being passed to Mark Collett)
Collett was going to be the funny World conquest Path for Far Right Britain, Absolute Monarchy was also gonna have expansionist stuff, Same with the Strasserists and Mosleyites. In his focus, he'd form the group
"National Action" (Who had their own custom models made btw, shame that got fucking scrapped) and would engage in a campaign of carrying out the "White Britannia Policy" which would see the deportation of Minorities. They could result in deaths and would cause possible riots and uprisings which you'd have to suppress. How successful the Policy is, depends on your own actions. If you want it to fail or not is up to you. But being too ruthless was going to result in NATO intervention, Which you could survive, So it wasn't a complete fail for the Player.
The Monarchy and Mosleyite paths would of course focus on you trying to strenghten the ties of Britain's old Colonial Nations and maybe even do a bit of trolling in Africa.
With that all said from my good friend. Do i think this stuff is ever going to even be included eventually in the Mod?
Probably not.. Which is unfortunate
being forced into JATE's GFX. Not even the Dominionists themselves, whose flag is a cross on top of the American flag and whose religion icon is literally just the Christian flag, are this on-the-nose with jamming RL political symbols and slogans into everywhere they can.
