That said, Hullrot was indeed good for a ship-to-ship combat game, I enjoyed it.
However, I thought it was strange for some of the higher-ups to publicly shit on people calling faggot shit out while trying to suck up to mentally ill men wearing dresses, it was suspicious enough.
Looking back at this, I remembered my own post and now I know why:

Matt's probably one of the cooler dudes in the ss13 code/host space. Mports I hear nothing of so that's good news in my book.

The only drama I remember is when interbay had a yuge shitshow of his code being "stolen". I think he specifically wrote it as a separate application so it didn't have to be released via linking clause of the AGPL.

It is an SS14 server, a member of the poisoned branch. It is also the ss14 port of shiptest, which was seriously created specifically as a tranny friendly server.
SS13 is not so poisoned at the root of its branch, thanks to the policy of benign neglect of the BYOND devs and SS13's creator.

I remember laughing so hard seeing it and getting gibbed not understanding wtf just happened.

it's hard to look back and not see how horrible ss13 has become, such a funny little game about 45 minute rounds turned into whatever it is now. so different that it's practically not the same game at all.

The state of SS14 is such that to participate in the game you have a choice between servers run by trannies or servers run by trannies who seemingly are open nonces also. Grim.

dotto/Aisha/fleshangel made an appeal to get back on the SS14 hub again, while adding censorship and blocking gamer words from the discord, which, now that he was outed as a tranny explains why he made this retarded decision. Hullrot has a stable pop of 80-120 during the playtests. We didn't need groomden trannies infesting the server, but alas he had his entire sperg and basically left, I just hope the new person in charge won't give a shit about what trannies think and will work on keeping the game fun instead of inviting hugbox niggers and turning the server into a cesspool. (Though as @alphabetnigger said, Theres a high chance hes a tranny, or a tranny-enabler too)

It's hardest to ignore everything as server host because you're the most responsible for attracting and maintaining players. The CM guy mentioned above, besides the reasons they gave, also happens to have literally the only normal BYOND server that's guaranteed to have a healthy and high amount of players for the foreseeable future. I think a lot of people probably wish they were hyperfixated on something single player instead.
