Consent is a complicated term, it isn't just saying yes or no. It has layers to it.
An adult who is in their right mind is assumed to have the cognitive capacity to understand the repercussions of saying yes or no, physically, emotionally, legally.
You cannot pose those kinds of questions to a mentally handicapped person, a child, or a person who has become divorced from reality, they simply cannot compute what you're truly asking or telling them.
Everyone in your life that has the patience to do so has explained this to you and it just bounces off of you. It's like explaining thermodynamics to an ant, the words are just to comfort the speaker, we know it has no affect on you.
You may be 19, but you've been gauged to be somewhere between 7-12 mentally. That age range is your 'true' age because while your physical shell may age, your brain, for whatever reason, cannot. You know that little girl vampire from Anne Rice's book? Like that only for your brain instead of your body. This is why we treat you like a child, because for all intents and purposes, you are. Additionally, you are Hellbent on showing time and again that you mentally are a child. You get to dictate how people treat you, when you positively reinforce treating you like a kid, people will lean into that and keep treating you like a kid. If you keep showing you can't resist taking the bait, starting fights that you can't throw your weight around in, and devolve into repetitious keyboard mashing when you go into shutdown mode, you will keep showing that you deserve the label of 'child'. It makes me feel some kind of way that the unhealthy parasocial relationships you have here are somehow the healthiest ones in your life.
Break the wheel, or be a slave to it.
