It’s truly amazing how much quickly the cultural tides have changed in less than two weeks.
If you were defending Billy then you would have (rightfully) been mocked. But now undeniably Billy is in the right and deserves this win, and I see my same annoyance with Karl Jobst’s white knights defending his actions the same way I used to see Billy’s. I thought he exposed himself as a loser after the whole "I'm nothing like RWhiteGoose guys! Also the name Huge Cock isn't going to get my Asian son bullied I promise!" video, but I could at least tolerate watching him talk about cool speedrun stuff.
This tweet right here is what truly opened my eyes on him being a hypocritical grifting inbred.

For context this tweet came out about a month or two after Oatsngoats got the Super Metroid any% world record. I get speedrunning is for fags and all that good stuff, but it's Super Metroid man. It's one of the main supporting pillars for the entire speedrunning scene. If you are into this stuff like Karl pretends to be then you know what a big deal that is.

"Holy Shit one of the most critically important speedgames ever got it's record beaten by 10 seconds" would be the easiest youtube video to make of all time, but he'd rather twiddle his thumbs waiting for some lit who to cheat at minecraft again.

Never said he was or wasn’t right in this arena specifically. I’m just saying you would be hard pressed to find someone who didn’t defend Billy in a concern trolling sort of way. Now even the ironic praise has a form of genuine sympathy and respect to it now.

I'm taking a quick look trough the thread and I don't see mention of the feud that non practicing chink lawyer LUS (Channel) had with Jobst.
I don't know too much about LUS but on his channel you can see that he was milking the Jobst lolsuit for years, at one point this happened:
