I don't know what's causing the recent outage but as a kf noob and recent 4chan refugee the writing was already on the wall with that shit website. The glitchy 900 second post timers that get reset if you look at them the wrong way were just the final straw for me. The admins incompetence was laughable the last couple years, asking for email registration on biz and not realizing the panic that would cause, accidentally nuking half of the small / comfy boards, and then deliberately nuking them for the april fools event. 4chan didn't just die, it was murdered.

It’s the shitty staff team and also their nonexistent sysadmin. I’ll miss it. It was fucking terrible and I had to constantly ban evade due to retarded moderation but I’ll miss it. Where am I supposed to shit on chainlink marines now?? Where do I go for steamcharts flamewars?

If you think /kpg/ went to shit you should have seen what happened to /metal/. The few times I've been there since it basically became a rotten corpse in like 2017 there's either been some fucking tripfag spamming the thread on cooldown, endless circlejerks about exclusively NSBM, or some guy samfagging, literally arguing with himself for an entire fucking 24 hours. The April Fools was terrible because it was entirely backwards, what's the point of killing slow hobby boards, to funnel everyone on /v/ and /bant/, then shove everyone on /b/ but start banning NSFW?
It should have been the reverse, close /v/ and /vg/ and /pol/ and show those monoboard plebs around the rest of the website. Maybe exempt the very slow boards like Flash for preservation so they don't get bumped out of existence.
