Lmao no? People call each other niggers, trannies, spics and kikes all the time and never get a ban on /a/. The only board I've experienced getting a ban for slurs alone is /gif/. On /a/ you can easily call people retarded gorilla niggers just fine.

I've not been banned every single time I said it but definitely caught the most bans on /a/ out of all boards for "racism". Also for using terms such as "SOLtranny" and posting 'jaks. It's either "racism" or "trolling outside /b/" as the ban reason. Getting hit with a ban for this stuff seems to depend on what thread you're posting it in, SOLtrannies that take their CGDGT shows very seriously (because as the original 4chan tranny moot once said: they wish to be the little girl) will mass report your post. The bans are less likely in threads for shonen or shows that are still airing, compared to threads for the type of SOL shows that haven't aired in over 5 years yet still have daily threads where users spam pics of whatever girl they jerk off to the most.

The main thing we might lose is one of the last places on the internet where you could near-instantly start a free form anonymous discussion about relatively niche topics and get actual responses from human beings. The quality of those responses might have been questionable sometimes, but there is really no alternative for some things.
