This bullshit Karl said on Twitter on April 4th 2025 after losing is a complete and utter lie. Every time he's in trouble he defaults back to "aw shucks, all I ever wanted to do was celebrate speedrunning and world records until the evil Billy sidetracked me." He tried to pull the same scam during the trial.



This was September 2024. Under questioning from lawyers, trying to impress the judge, Karl broke down crying and said he just wanted to make nice positive videos about people who play games quickly.

Do you know what Karl ACTUALLY did after saying that in court last year? Here are all the videos since then:



4 videos about speedrunning.
8 videos about drama.
2 videos about Billy Mitchell.

Karl likes to say he'll change his ways, then he never does. He always reverts to publicly calling people out. Billy's lawyer accurately captured Karl's true intentions by quoting an interview he did with Camelot:

The judge took issue with his back-handed non-apology and incredibly malicious antics so I’m not sure how he thinks it is going to be successfully appealed. He cannot really challenge the judges logic and reasoning, because he cannot provide any new evidence that was unavailable due to pleading the wrong defense.

But an appeal will run up both their legal fees for which he’s already on the hook. So even a reduction in a best case scenario is negligible.
