Not sure what you're implying here. It sounds to me like you're implying that all discussion of DSP is somehow suppressed and every post or thread about DSP is deleted. But there is an entire DSP subforum just for discussing every aspect of DSP's recorded life.

Arch is still up.
At this point some of the archive sites were so consistent and reliable with what they do, anyone running one of them could create a replacement 4chan and it'd have a decent chance of taking off.

The proper path is to get a short term option like lynxchan or vichan running while they pretend its feasible to bring the current stack up to date at all. Even if the site runs like shit its better than going totally dark for 30-90 days with a few blog posts -- on twitter not the fucking site itself for some insane reason. If they take over 30 days offline its fucking over because communities will establish on the alt-chans and never return. Social media is about inertia and habit forming, break either and its fucking over.

We don't know what happened behind the scenes at 8chan. I'm not going to take sides or believe any one's story wholesale. They all blame each other and it's been years since it mattered. 8chan's quality was already bad before any of the drama started behind the scenes. It was the beginning of the imageboard pedophile movement, tying their ability to discuss child abuse to free speech. And imageboard owners have all responded terribly when dealing with them.

It's a joke because like 50% of the messages in the DSP subforum are mine. The joke is if this were 4chan I would just keep creating endless threads about him and they'd keep getting deleted my mods because of no fun allowed.

Thanks to your poor grasp in understanding my widely enjoyed and appreciated humor I had to ruin the joke by explaining it.

what is the reason for all the animosity, though? I imagine even if the format is different, one could still enjoy a different site (unless the format is just egregiously bad or unintuitive)
