OK but I'm just tired of people making out 4chan to be the super elite hacker board with the cringiest term I have ever heard, "weaponized autism". I'm just here for my hobby boards man. 4chan hasn't done any of that in years and when you say "we" I really do doubt you did anything to help them dude
Please don't tell my mom I went on 4chan. I don't want the evil hackers to steal her credit card.

Ah, I see. You're too elite to be impressed by anything. Ever. That sounds like a sad existence to me.

I still laugh out loud whenever I think about the anon who was driving around in his car honking his horn, phone in hand, checking for updates from the board, just to find that fucking flag. People who can find a flag in the middle of a field with a camera pointed at the sky can do anything. It was proof that people who don't know each other can unite over a common goal and accomplish the impossible... for no other reason than it was the right thing to do. It gave me hope in humanity.

I have an immense hatred of Brenton Tarrant and still believe he was a glowie op, as his actions' consequences have only benefitted the people he "fought" and turned the internet 10 times shittier.
Tarrant was the second most obvious glowie OP of all time. Within an hour of us discovering the James Alefantis IG account in /HTG/ they launched the Q anon psyop (for context Q had virtually no following before this and was seen as a joke on the board) and it was only days until some tard who just went on a pilgrimage to Israel shoots up a mosque and our website's shut down and turned into a glownigger honeypot.
The /HTG/ anons tried desperately to warn everyone that the Q anon shit was a psyop, we were flooding 8chan trying to stop the glow op from taking off and its all archived.
Also don't forget their failed attempts at the same fake government leaker psyops as Q anon such as Purple Anon and that other one I forgot the name of. I'm pretty sure they gave up on Purple Anon because I FPBP'd every one of his posts with Jared Kushner memes.
Casual reminder to anons who were here for the ride: everyone who called you a schizo was a janny or a newfag who fell for janny demoralization ops.

That was about 8 years ago. I wish I could agree, but 4chan has certainly mellowed out over the years. I remember one post that put it pretty well

>We always complain about Reddit, Discord and the sharty, but they can raid us without scrutany while we can do fuck all about it

Mods always ruin any attempt at an organized raid and the spirit of trolling has basically completely died off. The "Not your personal army" meme being used for any raid also adds to it, it used to be a response to posts like "My gf just left me ruin her life pls /b/ros", before newfags used it for literally every call to raid regardless of how much sense the statement made contextually.

/x/ is now the only board and it's now exclusively for discussion about Xitter trends and you also have to link a Twitter account to a 4chan pass in order to not have a 15 minute Captcha timer every time you try to post something.
a containment board for twitter screen-caps would be great, i miss when /pol/ wasnt 99% twitter

I have been lurking for about 2 years and realized a while ago that the shit people write on here is way funnier than 4chan.
It struck me as odd that a site dedicated to stalking lolcows would attract such encyclopedic posters who cross every 'T' and dot every 'I' with their doxxes. A lot of the posts are really incisive, and yet the focus of their knife edge is often someone who is a disaster flaming out of their life. It often feels like there could be more important matters that could occupy their attentions instead.
The culture of the site -- testing the boundaries of internet censorship -- feels like something from the older rowdy internet. But there's a sense of hanging irony in obsessing over internet crashouts, which feels so meaningless, that inevitably you become an integral part of the lolcow being milked. i.e. The person who obsesses over the crazy person is much the fool himself.

He is so thoroughly finished that all his comments are paused, implying he is financially and professionally ruined. I can't imagine him returning to being a 4chan janitor. This time, they brought this upon themselves!

Watch them bring the site up way sooner than they should.
Watch them get hacked again in an equally retarded way by this time next year.
Watch them still get most of their passfags back because the kind of people who actively pay to use 4chan refuse to go anywhere else.

I liked 8chan before Christchurch. Once that happened everyone left due to Jim turning the place into a honeypot and went back to 4chan. I really miss what it used to be, at it's peak the place was my favorite site on the net where I could genuinely have some interesting discussions with all sorts of people. It's because of this that I have an immense hatred of Brenton Tarrant and still believe he was a glowie op, as his actions' consequences have only benefitted the people he "fought" and turned the internet 10 times shittier.
Man lurking around 8chan during Gamergate and then going into the 2016 election were some crazy fun times, full of constant habbenings, actually funny shitposting, genuine discussion and informative effortposts. As if 8chan going down and seeing it emerge again raped and beaten by Jim Watkins wasn't bad enough, seeing the absolute state of halfchan after being on fullchan for so many years made me want to blow my brains out.

I'd say there should just be a board for e-celebs in general. Jannies hate when people post about them but also refuse to give these guys a containment board. For most of the obnoxious posters, they can easily just be given the /mlp/ treatment and have it be that. That is basically what /qa/ was for soyjaks before they decided to go retard mode and made them 10 times more powerful by removing the board and effectively giving them their own website where they have absolutely no filter whatsoever and cannot be controlled, now the mods are getting what they deserve for their retarded actions.

I wonder how long your average 4chan user will realize they'll have to go cold turkey and quit their addiction to the site and then as weeks go by the realization that 4chan may never come back will set in? Where do they go? Just settle down in Discord and Reddit more?
Fresh rapefugee here. I'll try this place out. Nothing will ever truly replace 4chin but kiwi seems the closest spiritually. Discord is full of awkward teens and most servers turn into a pathetic circlejerk/ group therapy session. And reddit is just pure cringe.
