Phil has left things purposely vague. Right now his posted schedule says he's off Thursday and Friday but doesn't have Saturday listed. (He took off two days last week, nothing unusual yet.) He also said on stream that "next week" is a "7-day streaming week". I use these annoying quotes because of Phil's weird semantics. For him, the week starts when he starts streaming after a break, because he's the only playable character in his own universe. So, it could start whenever.

He could magically be "sick" on Saturday and Sunday, then return Monday.

Or he could even fly across the country on Thursday, stop in to see his mom long enough to say, "Sorry you're dying fr fr" and then fly back home the next day and stream on Saturday. He could do any of these things.

The fact that he knew the dates so far in advance (in the DMs) makes me wonder if his parents bought him and Khet these tickets months ago. He’ll probably expect a big check for the pleasure of his company and the exhausting effort/lost income the trip required.

I would love to see leaks of his messages to the VIP dents, they must be incredible and pathetic. This week I'm sure it was all about how he needs a Switch 2 for his business, some vague and unspecified medical bills, and a trip that is both expensive and very emotional because his parents are euthanizing themselves after watching their son's birthday marathon stream.

Imagine if in a single day your sandwich shop made $331, but...

By the time Phil comes back, we'll officially be in May.

That means the dents SSI checks will come in, and the business will be thriving again! (At least until the money runs dry towards the back half of the month as per usual)

So I don't know how widespread this is but my significant other asked today who presided over his wedding. I told her my theory was that as always, his Mom and Dad solved his problems. You see, his father has been serving a justice of the peace in his town for some time now, and that is one of the many minor duties they do as a layperson judge. So he got a courthouse marriage in his mommy's hoarder house in cigarette smoke before lying about the plan to phase out streaming.

Disregard that it says "2026-2029" as the term, if you look at earlier archives (like 2021/2023) you can see he was prior, it's just one of those things that's got a term but they renew it as long as you want to keep doing it.

Another fun point is that DSP grew up in a duplex, moved into a teeny condo, moved across the country into a townhome condo. My man has *never* lived in a full house. This explains why he is so fixated on avoiding saying Condo and in the past used to correct people on it being his house. He wasn't using the casual term but meant to convey the impression in his dented way that he lives in a full household and not yet another apartment rebranded. Honestly, I don't think this matters that much but the simple fact that it makes him so insecure is really funny. It reminds me of the times he would rage out at people calling out how noticeable his strokeface was. Then he spent years trying to correct his face on purpose and coping he did the faces on purpose for years.

Never got around to replying to the first post so I’m glad the topic came up again. I see it come up often where people say stuff like this and it always makes me laugh, because there’s no way in hell that Phil “The Guy” Burnell takes an ass whooping like a man. There’s no lesson to be learned because in his mind Phil can do no wrong. He’d probably cry to the cops to press charges and then bring up the incident later whenever he wanted to play the victim.

As always that poll won't matter and he'll just play what he wants. But it's funny he preemptively banned stellar blade, catherine and code vein. All these games having a hot woman protagonist.

His hatred for Code Vein was always weird to me because first off, it doesn't have a hot woman protagonist, the protagonist is your created character. Second, even though it's a soulslike it's not that difficult and you can't really fuck up your build, when you level up your stats automatically get raised depending on what class you have equipped, if you want to switch classes the stats will change to accomodate it, for example if you switch from a warrior-type to a mage-type class, your STR stat will be lowered and your WIL stat will rise (among other stats). Third, the game is balanced around you having an AI companion with you at all times, there's 2 companions who are absolutely cracked and can even solo boss fights by themselves, one of them is the girl that wears the weird boobie window rags or sexy camisoles (she is also the second most important plot character) but you unlock her as a companion quite late into the game, the second is a dude who you unlock really early on, I think he's the second or third companion you unlock, and he's masculine and wields a big two-handed sword so Phail can coom over him.

At this point it's just his ODD that keeps him from playing the game, nothing else.
