I first signed up for Kiwifarms because I find DR K's shtick to be incredibly gay, lame, and suspicious. The problem was I couldn't articulate what it was about it that gives me the creeps.
This comment on that video finally helped me crystallize what it is. I think the missing ingredient you are looking for here is optic.
Mald does not care how his action reflects (eg: he is hoarding ferret in the sake of hoarding it to satisfy his furfag passion, without actually proper re-homeing or rehabilitation instead), but he cares what the other THINKS about him and he has a imagined standard what should others think about him. (he is a wholesome chungus whit a 200 iq take on everything such as not setting up a 501c3 because that is implying some sort of scam and that would make him look bad )

It's very simple. He uses the ferrets as a way to make money. With a 501c3, he would not be able to use the money made from streaming ferrets freely on himself, because everything would have to go to ferrets. On the plus side he would have tax exemption status, benefiting the donors. That's not worth anything to him though if he then can't take the money.
All the other yapping and rationalizations are an attempt to make it seem as if he wasn't doing exactly that.
He has a business that consists of buying ferrets and live-streaming them. It makes him money. It's not a charity.

I hate dr k and similar grifters. But I am so glad I was wrong when I said this stream will be a nothingburger aimed at rehabilitating Mald's image. I am catching up and am literally giddy to jump into the pool of milk from yesterday.

Mind you, I 100% believe this would have been a gay-ass image rehabilitation stream, if only Mald was not too dumb and too much of a narc to play along. He did it to himself, the clown.

I think the elephant in the room as far as the Dr K thing and Thor trying to rationalize all of this is really that (and I think this is hard for anyone to accept let alone Maldy...) nigga is grating as hell.
