Comics are not meant to be Citizen Kane. Sure The Watchmen exists. Nobody in this space is ever gonna be Alan Moore. If anyone thinks that, they are delusional. Comics are an entertainment product. If the audience was entertained, it served it's purpose. It shouldn't be this serious. This started because Marvel was making comics that were not meant to entertain anyone.

Comics or any mass appeal entertainment are for children with good family structures. Anyone over the age of 30 who called another 50 year old man Caesar are mentally stunted.
Recently heard this obscure early Bowie song
Uncle Arthur (32) still reads comics
How the hell did we get here? Now it's 50 year olds
Uncle Ethan still smokes crack rocks

I will never forgive The Watchmen for what it did to Comic Stories. It made it so refusing to have a suspension of disbelief was the "intelligent" way to write superhero stories in the name of subversion. Still a good comic line, but I'm so sick of "Well, in the real world only evil people would have powers" stories from joyless cunts.

Moore and Miller are partially at fault. The other part is the jackasses that decided to rip them off for a quick edgy storyline. They sucked but so did everyone who decided to make Watchmen clones.

YEEEEEEEEES!
I think the worst part of that is that it's not even true. Let's say a Superman character emerges during the revolutionary War, that character dosen't have an entire institution built around them? Then you could have a separation between government superheroes and vigilante superheroes, we can even still have superheroes that are assholes. JUST NOT EVERYONE!
We could also take the fear of mutants seriously instead of going "hurr durr they're nerds" or "they're racists" it could be actually interesting.

The thing about Watchmen though is at the time it wasn't thought that Watchmen was going to take over comics. In fact, it's notable that originally Alan Moore pitched the story using DCs newly acquired Charleton characters (like the Question, etc) but the editors at DC at the time decided to be cautious and told him he could do the story with original characters. This was because they wanted to do regular comics with those Charleton characters, and didn't want them killed off. Of course, the fact that Miller's The Dark Knight Returns came out around the same time is also important.

I'll say this though, before this, Batman comics had already started to become a bit darker. The main thing I think that comes out of the Dark Knight Returns that did some damage was Miller's dislike of Superman. Watchmen was off in its own universe and was never supposed to interact with the mainline DC universe. I think it was a bigger hit than anyone expected. I actually think another book that caused problems was The Killing Joke, because of how it impacted Batgirl. This was exactly what they tried to avoid with Watchmen.

I hate to give the Urinal Frogs and Jon Femalins and the Juju the cows of the world something to ack ack ack about but as we saw with Dan Fraga posting the infamous video of his kids and Ali Sanguis false flagging after would be wins... when comics are involved retardation will ensue on all sides no matter the faction. The USPTO trademark filing for Dillard's The Mighty Golden Patriot has a problem. First off @FROG has been calling for Yellow Flash's dox. For real he is saying he has ways to do it, maybe including asking Nick Rekieta for assistance. He is saying this is for the good of his audience and he would NEVER release backer information (too much work to sift thru names). Wow never give this fucker your address. So is Yellow Flash's name on any trademark stuff like his good friend TUG messed up with his Renfamous trademark? No his opsec is ok so far for anonymity. My search discovered a filing done in only Dillard's name, so discussion over ownership and should Dillard have been paid as a jobber should be pretty much over. As far as the US legal system is concerned Dillard is the owner. Should I say attempted owner? Because while it's not over Dillard can still file more papers and appeal... the trademark has been rejected on the grounds of similarity to Marvel's Iron Patriot. Brand name confusion is cited such as MISTER STAIN vs MR CLEAN and TUNA O' THE FARM vs CHICKEN OF THE SEA

The filing also suggests Dillard hires a trademark lawyer. Clearly Disney has lawyers and the USPTO doesn't want to mess with ruling for some pissant lawyerless comic spergs allegedly trying to make a similar named character. Unless he lawyers up and refiles papers he is left only with the possibility of a trademark for Mighty Golden Patriot stickers. Anyway here's the most recent docs and the link to the USPTO

while I will support yellowflash comic, the mighty golden patriot name is quite dumb, the name needs to be snappier.

also, his tokusatsu hero has a big hill to climb. the design still needs a little more cooking and there is only one western toku hero that became popular.

It just occurred to me, can't people give a fake name when supporting a crowdfund? Although I suppose YF would originally give his actual info years ago to Ethan when things were different so that it would show on file that he supported Caesar.

I doubt very much the Casino would have given the July situation any coverage but for those two things happening. They are not comic book guys. Rekieta and Juju inadvertently hurt CG bad.

And that's on Ethan who willingly let them in. You could give him a pass on Rekieta since they became chummy when Rackets still seemed a half-decent person. But Juju and his orbiters are untermensch lumpenproletariat scum and everyone knew that when FROG hooked up with them publicly.

Reading his stuff is like reading the ranting of a bipolar lunatic. Most of the grievances and offenses committed by his "enemies" are made up in his own head.

Perhaps I've mentioned this before, but Meyer seems to base his identity on how much of a contrarian he is. When it became clear that the actual SJW's he used to crap upon were actually ignoring his presence (especially since it became clear he was just an innefectual fuck up rather than a threat to the comicbook industry's status quo) the only way he found to still be a contrarian was turning against whatever crowd still following him.

Now he's just barking whatever the voices in his head are dictating to him and being a passive/aggressive little bitch towards his followers, not caring or pretending not to care whatever feedback he gets for it.... and perhaps that's the only way he can be happy. He's never going to deliver his books on time if ever, and he has no incentive to do so: IGG's TOS state that anyone supporting any campaign is entitled to jackshit. Furthermore Artiste Zack feels at best mild contempt for all these muggles paying him any attention or money, so he probably has no moral qualms about leaving them in the lurch.

But if after all this he still gets money from people well, that's those people's fault. He has been an unhinged jackass for more than a year now which is time enough for anyone to realize it. Anyone disatisfied with his attitudes who gave to his campaigns may still get refunded (and it's easier if you tell him in IGG's comments that you had a set of expectations from him... he loves subverting expectations), which in the end will be the best and loudest thing one can do to Zack.

this cock sucking faggot really thinks he's a mob boss. @FROG if you're gonna dox YF and try to ruin his life at least have the balls to say you want to do it because you're a seething bitch boy who has a hissy fit whenever people don't worship you and hang on your every word.

don't hide behind some gay "he threatened muh friends!" bullshit.

Not EVS (at least not openly). But I seem to recall them looking this up last year. Possibly hoping to dox him or go after him in some way. And were unhappy that it was in Dillard's name.
