Based on my own experience: Any boy old enough to be in elementary school is better endowed than that pooner. Then again like any normal person my sample size for that is exactly one (1), so maybe I'm wrong. This and covid should have removed any idea anyone has that there even IS a ‘community’ of ethical medical/scientific thought. There isn’t. It’s not like nobody spoke out. People did, There are individual doctors and scientists who have spoken out about both troonery and covid and they have been fired, and had careers destroyed.

What I don't understand is why. The US is obvious, transgenders willingly sign themselves up for a lifetime of slavery to pharmaceuticals and surgery. I can't think of any other medical issues where there's a whole wing of a major political party demanding access to such patent bullshit.

Yes, there's the antivaxxers and the coof truthers and various orthorexic groups and a couple of groups working on some of the problems in psychiatry, and there's some political organization there, but not enough to capture the mainstream like this.

(Coof is its own thing where the whole planet lost its goddamn mind for a year. I really hope so, I do. But… just think about what they achieved already -
1. Gillick competence
2. Idea of a child’s birth certificate being changed
3. Idea that a child can understand complex life changing medical interventions
4. Idea of removing a child from its parents if an ideology is not affirmed
Quite a lot of this overlaps with pushes in surrogacy as well, all the changes to the ‘ownership documents’ for want of a better word. Taking a child away from its parents, changing its documentary trail. These are worrying things.

Nah, these things go back and forth. A few decades ago, pedophilia wasn’t seen as all that bad. Shit, they had legal magazines of nude kids in the 70ies and 80ies.

Okay so we’re officially at 1 month post op!
Yesterday I went back to London to have the black dead tissue cut away, so as you can see the tip is now open and ready to heal again.
I’ve been instructed to do prontosan soaks for 15 mins after my shower and then doing honey dressings.
If you check the last 2 pics, that’s before showering and the prontosan soak. It really does help clean things up.
It was strange watching someone cut away my flash and feel nothing
The wound separation at the base is filling in really well and despite all my open wounds the nurses at NVH are confident I’ll heal fine in the end and also, they said I’m keeping it nice and clean and it’s looking good!

Hey all!
So I have one nipple healing at the top of it's class and one that has been struggling with bloodflow and a little dehiscence on the inside of the chest wall and the areola. I'll include a collage that shows 6 days of healing for the one that is... trying to figure it out. I labeled them with the approximate days out of surgery.
The surgeon says it will heal with time and auqaphor + bid dressing changes. She said that one often heals faster than the other and the way my nipple looks is "common." Also, to "take it easy on that left side." I was hoping for multiple opinions about how it's looking. I've been softly showering daily, changing my auqaphor bandages twice a day, and wearing my binder 23hrs a day. What do you think?

I had a double mastectomy with nipple grafts and contouring/liposuction, as well as 3 sentinel lymph node biopsies due to cancer in the left breast. I opted for a DMX to prevent recurrence as well as to help with my body dysphoria. It was a double whammy for me - remove the cancer and get a flat chest (all covered by the gov. because of my brca2 mutation).
It’s been 9 days and my chest seems to look a bit different compared to some of the post-op recovery photos I’ve seen on this sub.

Peeking in on another previously posted patient, imi07, who is reporting that he is struggling with his recovery a lot. SRS advice - Pain and more 2mo post OP​

Hello everyone,
I’m currently 53 days post-op after penile inversion vaginoplasty, with peritoneal tissue from the testes used to line the vaginal canal. As far as I know, my surgery went without major complications.
Still, I feel completely lost.
I’m this far into recovery, but my experience doesn’t resemble what many of my friends describe. Early on, I developed a massive blood clot around my clitoris, which detached about three weeks post-op. Later, I experienced a significant wound separation at the base of my vagina, along the perineum.
At week six, I had additional sutures placed to help close the wound, but most of them didn’t hold. They did help a bit, but the area is still open.
Despite all this time, I still can’t stand or move around for more than 15 minutes without severe pain. It’s wearing me down emotionally. I’ve never experienced a healing process this difficult—and I can’t stop wondering if anyone else has gone through something this hard.
Today I broke down crying from the pain after trying to stand for just 10 minutes. Meanwhile, I keep hearing stories from friends who are back to their lives just a month or two post-op. I feel stuck, isolated, and like something must be wrong.
Is this normal? Has anyone else had a recovery this rough?

Bad smell years after srs pi technique.​

I am almost 3 years after my mtf srs penile inversion with scrotal graft, and I am struggling with bad smell , I dilate around twice a week and douche with clean water afterwards, but my vagina just smell like something very rotten, the back of your ear but 10x more, I don’t know what should I do , I tried adding betadine solution and saline water and nothing worked.

Anyone who works in the academic sciences learns early on that ethics is a meme and is at best a weapon to utilize against your competition. I am unaware of any research group that doesn't have severe funding misappropriations and hired labor bleeding between projects without documentation. Data is always cherry picked to avoid showing any data that doesn't support the author's chosen conclusion. "Nothing happened" doesn't get published so the findings are always massaged until it's discovered that something publishable was found. Did a real and relevant finding go against what you or a collaborator previously published? Just don't publish it to avoid making anyone lose face.

Frankly, I think I'm just surprised medical ethics are as strong as they are. You put scientists in charge of medicine and it would look like Mengele and Unit 731 had a team up to see who can violate the laws of nature the hardest.
