I would post the sprite work here but its not letting me for some reason. Though the game is not about him I wanted to add him for my own amusement/meme. No he retracted the claims, but steam is stonewalling me until I prove everything is fair use. Biggest wait was on Mario(Lawyer) to write up the papers for me to give steam. He started a new firm and has been busy which I understand, dude has been awesome and glad he's helping. I submitted the papers to steam last week so just waiting on another review. After steam says its cool to go live I then have to wait for Mario's greenlight to release for other legal reasons.

I'm not certain myself, I know Josh is somewhat familiar with this thread but I want to say it hasn't received a single feature yet, even during the WoW stuff. I think it might be because this thread is already pretty active, and pretty high quality, so giving it a feature might actually be detrimental to the quality of the thread. I'm fairly certain though that someone did post it in the thread for happenings.

Is it really that big? For thread regulars it's hilarious but others who don't know the lore I'm not sure. I'm going back through it and will do a long post of it, the best clips are already in the thread.

About an hour in is where Dr. K starts to challenge Mald more directly to the point Mald gets uncomfortable. Dr. K definitely understands the exact type of guy Mald is but not wanting to contribute to the dogpile, never says it outright.
Instead of saying Mald is a liar, he says Mald leaves a lot of things out and that things don't quite line up with how he presents the story.
Instead of saying Mald is a smug asshole, he says Mald presents everything as if he is objectively right and everyone else is objectively wrong, which is hilariously something Mald has said before in a previous, similar controversy where he was objectively wrong.
Instead of saying Mald talks down to people, he highlights how Mald dismisses people he "doesn't like talking to" as immature and not worth his time.

Alright so here are some ideas but I'll reformat them once I get ahold of your game to see the technicalities:

• If there are items like in earthbound, maybe have a bible which increases either defense or magic defense, if your game has the options to use item on an enemy, Jason will comment something along the lines of "Religion... didn't you know that countless atrocities were committed in the name of religion? During the holy crus-" which cuts off to a dialogue saying "he seems distracted" which nets you a free turn once during the fight
• His house has to have a section with a really beefed up computer setup and a gaming chair with what looks like lubricant and napkins just behind the monitor, make is subtle so it's not readily apparent unless you pay attention. Once interacted with the dialogue would look something like "There seem to be three monitors of various sizes connected to a flashy computer housing with alot of cables. The biggest one shows what seems to be a stream advertisement for some sort of energy drink but the time out timer has reached zero yet it's still on screen. The second biggest monitor has what seems like discord (or rename it to something similar like Devcord), looks like admin tools are open with keywords such as 'Maldavious figtree, scam, roach, rat, shartbound...' it seems to go on for quite a while. And the smallest one contains code for something he was working on... seems unfinished."
• Add a small section that supposed to be a bathroom in the house, with all the usual bathroom stuff but on the lavatory surface there is a out of place gnome that smells of chemicals, like it's been scrubbed recently.
• The room should have vague posters of various games which badly cover up what look like erotic depictions of anthropomorphic ferrets, and if you interact with one semi-loose poster you can move it to reveal a ferret woman with bikini on with text such as "There's a artist signature at the bottom and a date, seems like a recent commission."
• His house shouldn't be like completely a mess but make it untidy, with laundry strewn around the laundry basket, unkept bed etc
• Add a cage section, but don't go full brutal insults. Say like "The ferrets seem well kept, fed and happy. The interior is rich and well maintained. Wish I could say the same about the house...

The game is pretty much a 1:1 of Earthbound albeit some Pokemon movements its not really gonna be TOO in depth about Jason because its about Chud and the commentary Community. However when designing the house Ill def use some of these for reference. Not to shill but if you guys are curious about the game I post devlogs and stream development, if this is bad taste apologies Idk the etiquette here yet. If you want to DM or see the game first hand I can do that just dont be weird I had a few bad interactions with some autists and I'm at my breaking point with people trying to get self inserts(so I started charging) lol. I dont want to spend a year on this project its suppose to be a quick meme game, idk if ill be able to monetize it sounds shitty but my goal is to get my other games up and running so I can do it full time.

Genuinely, be thankful, ALL of my favourite threads become unreadable for a week while featured, and degrade slowly over time because the retards come in and just say obvious shit that has been covered over and over again for easy updoots.

not only is the gnome mandatory in any game with mald, mald's questline within your game should be that it is his "romantic love interest", like the questline is all about mald trying to "befriend" the gnome and it's up to the player to respond to his advances.
