At one point of my life: I was teaching 7th graders who still wrote their 7s, 9s, and 5s backwards. When I ribbed them on this, they couldn't care less (or feigned it because that's what "hard" people do). They couldn't even type at 15 WPM. Admin actually preferred them to use STT which was worthless because of what use is STT if you have no concept of grammar or punctuation?
When they "wrote", lets just say it's really funny (in a depressing sense) to see a huge long-running sentence span an entire page with each letter taking up like, two lines on lined paper in all caps.
