Public school is a joke. In a functioning system kids who didn't want to be there would be put in vocational training or just sent home forever for their parents to deal with. i hardly know anyone my age who had a good class prank. It's always "Oh we asked the art teacher to let us into school after hours and put sticky notes everywhere. She ran it by the principal, and we got his approval. So everyone was shocked to see a big 'Class of 20XX' spelled out in the lobby the next morning!!", or some unbelievably cringe shit like that. Class pranks seem to have been co-opted by the school themselves via the theater kids. It warms my heart to see zoomers acting like savages again.
