Zoomers destroying school chromebooks - 0.3 GPA activity

The chromebook destruction doesn't bother me as much as how stupid the zoomers look while doing it. Leave it to zoomers to make wanton destruction look faggy and lame.

Ah, and since I repair these things for schools, I can at least give some insight into what repairs and replacements cost. Of course, these numbers are only reflective of my local area, but still give a general perspective as to what these brain rotted Zoombies are costing taxpayers/parents.
- $50 for a screen replacement
- $15 for a new keyboard/trackpad
- $90 for chassis replacement
- $300 for a destroyed Chromebook

Below is one of the best ones I got this year. The middle schooler threw his Chromebook at a wall during a temper tantrum. Instead of fessing up, he tried using super glue to set the hinge back in place. He simply flooded the thing with glue, coating the motherboard and the screen with the shit. It was utterly fucked.

Free will = spending all day vegging out in front of a low attention span version of youtube, then copying the stuff you see on it.

The nice thing about doing ridiculous shit in school prior to the smartphone age was that it was almost always something homegrown that you and your classmates did. These kids don't have that, because they have no culture beyond what's being fed to them by the algorithm. It's not even like these are things these kids are personally sharing with each other; the tiktok bots said I'd be interested in watching people vandalize their laptops, so I guess that's what we're doing now. If the tiktok bots hadn't spread this thing, it wouldn't be a trend.

There's your modern version of free will: infantile, unconstructive, and always filtered through a corporate algorithm.

Based, most schools make their chromebooks near unusable with bloatware and spyware to stop kids from playing coolmath. Some schools even remove the ability to use the USB ports recently which I think is a big reason all this has started, and why these kids are usually doing this to the USB port.

I'm gonna come back to this sober. But as I am rn, drunk as shit, if you give a porch monkey a laptop they will destroy it. If you give a nigger, a pencil, they will not return it. If you give a black person a ride to the store, they will forever hold you to it. It does not surprise me that when you give a nigger or some white trash trailer fuck kid a laptop they will destroy it. They don't know that the laptop they are using is NOOOOOOT Windows. These fucking kids don't know that there's a difference between Apple and Windows and Linux. They don't know how to actually update their repositories. They don't even know what a repository is! God help us. Josh|Null is the last bastion of understanding what the capital I Internet is.

Fuck educational publishers and scientific paper gatekeeper publishers. I'm not exactly pro-Chromebook but they all deserve to go out of business.

Come on, now. Do you really think the videos posted by OP were all private school kids? They make up 10% of the shoolchildren in this country, and we all know that wanton destruction of school property is the sort of thing that is way more common in public schools. Any one of these kids would've been expelled way before their behavior got that bad if they were in private schools. We disagree on your second point for sure, I think it's good that these kids are fucking with their schools in this way. But you and I both know that those videos were public school kids.

Honestly I remember installing a bunch of proxy extensions in high school to get around the filters. Looking back on it now some of them either might've been viruses or spyware. However during one semester somebody airdropped the Tor Browser and it spread like wildfire until the end of the school year. In short there's always going to be stupid shit done to laptops, but this goes beyond wanting to get to CoolMath or going to Newgrounds it's just destruction for the sake of destruction.

To anybody saying that this is based because you don't like public schools spending your tax money buying Chromebooks, then I hope you realize that this trend will make the schools spend even more of your tax money getting these things repaired/buying new ones.

I mean yeah, Chromebooks suck ass and so does the education system, but this is still nigger behavior.
