What really kicked the whole thing off was Gabe found out we were reaching out to people involved in An Open Secret and the company recieved a threatening letter from Gabe's lawyer to which our companies lawyers told him to go fuck himself. Then the crazy emails & phone calls started. This turns out to be Gabe's modus operandi. The gist of story is Gabe is extreemly insecure and would constantly overshare about his personal life. Gabe is incredbily short, like struggling to hit 5' short & would constantly brag about how rich & powerful his family is & no one could fuck with him, then minutes later he would be close to tears telling everyone in how in school people would make fun of him constantly & how he had a break down and wound up in the nuthouse after a girl he liked spread rumors he had a micro penis. How he was diagnosed with Skitzophrenia & mommy wasn't having that & pretty much cut him out of her life.
Wow, that does sound like someone with legitimate schizophrenia, albeit seemingly on the lighter side. As a mere peasant, I personally do not understand why multi-millionaires can feel insecure about anything. I have my house and car and I don't need much thought when buying groceries and I feel very satisfied with life. Someone who lives in a $3.5m McMansion should feel better, no?
I don't know if he reads these posts but honestly, did he expect his first, or one of the first film attempts to be a hitter? Many producers go through dozens of duds (in terms of sales figure) to finally develop a style and it culminates to one masterpiece. Some are able to seize on that to put out more but most are relegated back to obscurity. If anything, he should be taking this as a learning opportunity.
To be a hedge fund manager or to work in a higher role in any financial sector at all, you need a few screws loose. I don't have the stats but it felt like this sector is at least 90% psychopaths/sociopaths. That's why I bailed after less than 2 years. The pay was great, everything else like stress and abuse, not so much.
@CaptainShitlord I'm still not totally convinced but if any if this is true it sounds like Gabe will be deserving of a proper thread here in due time, which makes him trying to cozy up to Josh make a lot more sense.
