Does anyone else have their shorts feed be spammed with clips explicitly showing things you don't like, as if they're aware of what you watch and try to piss you off?

Because it's either that, or i'm getting (more)Schizo or something.

Now i have a bad habit of watching shorts, often animal stuff and other normie things, but lately they've been flooded by clips of movies with scenes where evil white people do bad things against minorities, and either the minorities teach them a lesson or some white savior type does it, and it just keeps consistently happening, at least 4 times a day.

I get a metric ton of antipragerU videos even though I've barely watched prageru. who knew there was an entire ecosystem revolving around criticism of something like this? Also I get bunch of atheist and antitheist vids presumably because once upon a time I watched an antiislamist channel (and muslim reponses) and somehow they think the audiences for those overlap?

Oh, it's nothing new. Facebook, a while back, admitted to pushing more enraging content onto peoples feeds because they found it gets more engagement.

It would be nice if the algorithm could filter out the bandwidth wasting slop that random schmucks upload and actually lift up new creators putting forth the effort. Instead, they implemented it in the most straightforward and dumb way possible.

I have that. Sometimes I search for something innocuous and it appears like "rise of this figure in history" or why things that should be common fucking sense "trooning kids" is mental disease. Yet then appears recommended of breadtubers saying "akshually". But that's only when I'm in a computer without Enhancer for Youtube.

Could someone name the extension to filter out shorts again?

Does anyone have any recommendations for YouTube downloaders? I used to use 4K Video Downloader. It was great because the download list could link back to the original pages. Over time, it has only become worse and worse. It used to only let you download 10 videos per day. Then it was lowered to 3. Recently, they discontinued support for the free version, and now it's borderline unusable. The paid version only has a one-time fee, but I don't know if it will be worth it. I still have free online converters, but I don't know which ones are safe and none of them can download long videos.

Occasionally I've gotten some weird stuff on YT only the last year or so where if I open a vid the video ad audio plays perfectly fine, but the entire fucking screen aside from my cursor freezes and then everything stops responding till I force quit.

Also I've noticed more and more over a decade old videos are being converted to "shorts" by the uploaders for shorts ad rev and I'm fucking pissed because it removes the sides of the video and shrinks it into phone screen format. Not even fanegling with the url helps with that anymore. It just cuts off on the sides even in non-shorts feed format now.

Funny, for me Librewolf has been playing Youtube video fine since a month or two ago, but videos crash about 10% in on Ungoogled Chromium. And for a long period before that it was the opposite, I could watch videos fine in Chromium but they would crash in Librewolf, but one day they switched. I can only guess it's browser code, adblocker code, and Youtube anti-adblocker code all running into each other in random ways.

Happens when YouTubes autobots sense some fuckery going on. Real or AI imagined. It happened to me once when I had multiple instances of YouTube videos running on my network while not signed in. Everything you do on the YouTube site is tracked, logged and scrutinized by AI to ensure you're a good boy.

Happened to me a couple times before and it actually made my jaw dropped. Yes, I very much appreciate it when I get blocked from watching a YouTube video for what is ALWAYS a fucking retarded reason but showing me video recommendations when you tell me that I can't even access basic functionality that everyone should be allowed to use?
