Probably with much better odds than if you were not... Was anything of value actually lost?
How else is a Kiwifarmer supposed to contribute towards poisoning the Google AI search?

This is important, generation defining work.

LTT doing stupid DIY emulation cabinet shit, still manages to cost $2400 for an ugly cabinet to run retropie and some emulators, with some off the shelf joystick buttons and parts. As if there aren't other resources online to figure out how to do this cheaper(seriously, a fucking monitor, 2 speakers, 2 joysticks, and a raspberry pi is $2400 for this man? Yes there's materials and labor but come on) to basically have a toy mounted to the wall for some reason.

Meanwhile GN is playing around with new heatpipe designs in advance of a product launch
skimmed through it real quick, honestly surprised linus didnt try and make them retardedly cram a 5090 in there.

"Dell failed to solve the problem and offered to let us ship the computer to a service centre or to have a tech visit our home, which will take days/weeks but will eventually solve the issue, 10/10!"
"Starforge solved the issue over email rather than over phone, usually responding within a few minutes, but we had to wait almost fifteen minutes for them to reply once so they get a 1/10 because that's just too long to wait!"

Not that Dell got a fair challenge to begin with, unplugging the PCIe power is a completely unrealistic thing to go wrong in shipping. If the Canadian post somehow manages to shake a computer so badly that a Molex power connector comes loose, every PCB in there has already been ground to dust anyway.

It may me being retard but I disliked that hostess, most of the time she sounds like a entitled bitch that didn't wanted to be there while doing snarky comments like with the dell technician where she said "They said I should invite a guy to my house to let me fix my computer" when she didn't wanted to ship it to the repair center, she also took points on the last episode from a guy being too friendly(He was strange but nothing uncommon for me). I wouldn't be surprised if she had more redflags than Madison

This has been the worst secret shopper. The first one was really good because the russian guy was Linus' sidekick, second was fine just for showing how the industry was dealing with covid/work from home and having no supply, last one was whatever, but this one feels forced and deliberately stupid. It could be the new hostess call girl is too much of a late zoomer to not understand any form of public interaction or the back end production feeling dumber.

This series is a good example of people reaffirming whatever girl says because they want to get in her pants, as opposed to just telling her she's wrong in her thinking or reactions.

I haven't looked in a while; but for #2,400 you could get a Japanese Candy Cabinet, and a NAOMI system to hookup to it.

Or, if he wanted to showcase something really interesting he could have bought an exa arcadia, an actual modern arcade system with unique games. Something that the average person will never buy or ever see. But no, he's got to run shitty emulators on shitty hardware.

but this one feels forced and deliberately stupid.
Dude, everything they've been making feels fake and forced as fuck. It was always there but I feel its gotten really bad with how corporate and sanitized everything on the LTT channel feels. It's really easy to see in just the thumbnails themselves, with their ugly fucking soyfaces.

Weirdly, for me, I coincide the channel degrading and feeling more fake recently with Linus shaving his beard, which was from last year. I think he got even more faggy when he did that. The blonde hair really didn't help, either.

I'm not an expert but needing to move the watercooling to open the case that is going to be opened and closed regularly seems like a bad idea. It also leaked during filming so I have a feeling it's going to leak at Microsoft again.
Linus ripping off the RGB cable is a rare W. Rgb is ugly.

This shit is 100% going to die in shipping, no way it survives.

>Bill gates build MS from zero on his garage

LMAO, His parents and Steve Ballmer parents we're Millionaires and they helped MS a lot.

He also illegally used government computers (Harvard's PDP-10 had a terms of service that prohibited commercial use) to develop a commercial BASIC interpreter for the 8080, which is what he built Microsoft on. The code for this BASIC was also if not outright copied from, at least very heavily based on DEC BASIC. If you're going to glorify an early home computer shop, you'd be better off doing so for Apple. Jobs and Woz actually did work out of a garage from basically nothing.

Woz I don't have a lot of idea but Jobs family was also rich but Jobs and Woz had a more "humble" beginning than MS as they're tried to create an cheap computer alternative to IBM clones and were able to do it until they became what they fought against.

While I respect Jobs(before transforming apple into a cult) and Woz, I just don't like they pretending that they were poor boys.

I'm sorry but literally what are you talking about
Microsoft was solely a software company during the 70s and the only hardware they sold in the 80s was a Z80 card for the Apple II and their series of mice. They never built a single computer; they licensed their software (BASIC, DOS, Xenix, etc) to the computer manufacturers.

You cut that quote off, changing the context. Nabe claimed that Jobs and Woz were doing that, not Microsoft.

The Apple I wasn't really competing with any established products either (particularly not from IBM, who were entirely focused on mainframes at the time), it was a home micro kit much like the Altair 8800. They were pretty much just toys for electronics/computer enthusiasts, you couldn't do anything useful on them. If you actually wanted to do work you'd get a terminal and dial your company/university's DEC minicomputer.
It was actually only years after Apple pioneered the home micro market with the Apple II (not the first home micro, but more or less the first one to ship assembled and ready to use, and capable of doing more than print "hello world!") that IBM released the PC, and the thing that let them enter the competition so quickly despite starting so late (using off-the-shelf parts like the Intel 8088 rather than the usual IBM custom chips) also quickly got them outcompeted by the likes of Compaq (it was easy to make an IBM-compatible computer).
