How would that make anything better?
It wouldn't, but Nick is brain damaged enough where he might think it would constitute a minor W amidst a major L.
No, what he was trying to say is that he wishes Hardin on Josh as if Hardin is a shit lawyer. It's like his "I wish him a million dollars" line. He's not taking credit for it.
I dunno how you're getting that, from this...
...but okay.
Even if I am wrong about him prepping himself for a Hardin victory, I don't think I'm wrong that he's full of shit on his claim he recommended Hardin. I wasn't even the first person in this thread to point that out. I was like the fourth or fifth.
EDIT (Clarification): Null now states, further on in the thread, that Nick knew Hardin, but that Barnes was the one that put him in touch with Hardin.
It is ironic, though, that the only shit lawyer besides Nick is Barnes and Barnes is the only lawyer Nick recommended. And Ty Beard. Beard sets the bar for shit lawyers.
The only two lawyers that Nick has called shit, that I think he was absolutely right about, is Landau (Maddox's lawyer), and I
assuming he
probably called Binger shit at some point (I didn't really watch his Rittenhouse coverage, but he would not be wrong if he did, like so many others did).
Many of the KickVic lawyers were more competent than he was willing to admit (unfortunately). Johnson was actually
highly competent and got a kill shot in on Ty. Chupp (judges are technically still lawyers) also reached a defensible decision given Ty's fuckups.
He is also thus far dead wrong on Schneider, Hardin, and Fischer.
In all, Nick's ability to correctly analyze the competence of other people in the legal profession is pretty miserable IMO.
