TLDR: Morning: He was about to go to sleep on screen due to an unexpected "guest" last night. At lunch, watched a Kurt stream to get smart about the case, but, hilariously, his ODD against Kurt made him appear pro-prosecution. Chat was not having it because Nick had no idea what he was talking about in this case (see spoiler below). Afternoon was fine; post-court interview with a First Amendment lawyer-friend of Rendazza - was dull.

- Left screen at 9:08 central to get a drink for 5 min during cross - the most exciting part of the morning.

Afternoon:

- Nick called O'Keefe's death a "killing". (Ummm, is he a prosecutor now?)

- He said he "doesn't give a shit about my CV" and laughed about all the people who have viewed his Linkedin resume.

- He/Ryan has clipped the Rendazza interview. Nick set up the thumbnail while he was streaming.

- After the court was over, he brought on this guy for a conversation about the protestors being arrested (2 today). He's a friend of Rendazza. It was very boring.

- He thought there was a different judge in the first case; it's the same judge

- He had no clue that this is a "female case". HUH? This IS TOTALLY a wine mom case. Women are on fire about Read being railroaded by corrupt cops. It was mostly female streamers who made the first case get headlines.

- He STILL doesn't understand the absurd restrictions that Judge Cannone has put on the ARCCA witnesses or why there was an issue about their payment by the defense. (Long story regarding actual feds.)

- No interest in the valid or invalid "science" behind the timeline that the prosecution is arguing. (That timeline doesn't make sense, but Nick clearly doesn't understand why.)

- "The town doesn't seem to care," says Nick. EXCUSE ME, WHAT? Canton is on FIRE about this case. Protest is famous in MA. Canton residents are being arrested and are on the street every day. One cop was disciplined, another was fired. The local head of the cop union (now retired) has said that Proctor's conduct was shameful.

- Has no clue that the lawyer Kurt interviewed, Mark Bederow, is a famous NY defense attorney who Judge Cannone prevented from being on the Read team due to helping Turtle boy's defense.

- He "forgot" about the texts that Proctor sent about Karen Read. (JFC, THAT'S WHY THIS CASE IS BIG. Proctor wanted her to die by suicide, laughed at her Crohns disease, said he'd see to it that she gets locked up, called her retarded, and was mad that there were no nudes on her phone.)
