We have been through three and a half seasons. The one with fans is widely considered the worst. Good moments? Absolutely. But these moments weren’t because they were fans, it was because certain fish had the it factor.

I don’t know how somebody can watch stream stars or the latter half of season two and think fans belong on the show.

I’m so tired.
Sorry buddy but the fan consensus outside of here is that S2 and even bitchtank were both way better than cringe S3

Jet's takeaway from s3 is that fans belong on fishtank. No stream stars people will be on s4. Take with a grain of salt.

Seems like a good idea to link stocks and fishtank contestants (FTC). Could be sort of a prison economy with smokes. Can choose to hoard/price fix/rug pull to accrue more or burn one of each current FTC to send TTS or 10 for plushies or command a hassling/side character bit.

Have a free FTC called FAT that is just a photo of jets head that can be used as a joker to fill a slot to complete any TTS/plushy/hassle to stop monopolies from completely ruining the game.
Also allows production to know who everyone hates the most as they will use their FATs to complete the TTS without them, also be able to prioritise one of the FTCs burned so everyone in chat knows which fishtank Stan group is on top. Also might be better in reverse with having to burn 2 FTC of whoever you hate the most and replacing who you like most with FATs, signalling you are hodling that contestant.

FATs are time released but can also be earned by sending in good highlights/clips/timestamping or by burning old dropped out FTCs to earn more.

Bring back at least one contestant and revive their FTC to mald the fuck out of people that burnt their FTC for more FATs once they dropped out.

Have a separate prize pool that is for viewers only that's 15% of every purchased FTC stock, so if you hodl the correct contestant by the end you can trade in for greater money than you spent.

Having a rate limited amount of trades per day per fishtank account with more only being allowed by burning FATs.

Have stock market open up at the beginning and close at the end of the normal stream day. Only sell stocks of contestants in the first hour to replenish used stocks and set the price for each as whatever the production wants. Maybe show publicly how many of each stock they will be selling beforehand but also rate limit enoguh so people can't just scalp.

This might be close enough to securities to get production in trouble but maybe claiming it all as NFTs might get around that idk.

If jet actually has an account here can someone @ him to try and put some of these ideas in.

I'll think more on this later as I get more drunk.

Or, and get this, they do a cell challenge and run out of ideas by week 4 while Fishtank.live has sound effects going off every few minutes right when you've maxed your volume to try to listen to some stupid bullshit being said in the worst spot in the house aka where everyone congregates.

. The one with fans is widely considered the worst.
S2 is easily better than S3 what?
S2 takes the cake in cringe and you know it. Tayleigh, Jimmy, Meg, Brian, and TJ just to name a few delivered lethal doses of cringe regularly. Shit was unwatchable.
I can handle them far better than Binx, at least they share the same cultural background and not just a aged twitch whore who likes trannies

Sam is running a background noise stream featuring some art by Luke. Its cycling through various scenes with light animation. Its good work.

Gotta give props to the S3 cast for keeping the illusion alive, especially when Sam goes out of his way to fuck it up hard on day 2 already.

Jet sort of coming around on fans is unexpected to hear but ultimately the conclusion if you want it to be a competition for 42 days. Having some "outsiders" is still a must imho, but they could rework the infiltrator bit or have them pair up so they stick around for longer.
Keep in mind that Jet wanted to move away from the house destruction so we might still see a themed season.

As for his resentment for the stream stars? might be a little butt hurt it ended up more profitable than s3? realistically I feel like he just watched so little of it and was out of the loop that this is the easiest cope (and one a majority of Fishtank watchers support).

I also think Jet severely overestimates the production quality of Blood Games... if it's all new faces it has a high chance of flopping imho.

S4 is gonna be unwatchable, then. It'll just be people trying to be the 'next Jimmy/Jon/Letty/etc.' or the next simp magnet, and people making reference to stuff you have to be terminally involved in the FT community to understand.

I can't wait to not understand what's going on because I wasn't on /bant/ two seasons ago and am not aware of whatever random post some retard made in a Discord channel in between seasons.

Season 2 was my least favorite personally, but if you look anywhere outside of this thread, it's pretty clear that it's the fan favorite.
Part of this is simply because Fishtank fans are retarded (S2 is proof of that). But to be fair, there were a lot of people who only started watching during season 2, who's only exposure to season 1 was through the episodes which are pretty terribly edited for the most part. Season three started out great, but had the worst ending, and that's what sticks in people's minds. Bloodgames was by far the most consistent and had the best execution of concept, but it isn't really fishtank, so it gets overlooked by some people.

If you count the ending as being just dropping off the losers and then going into the desert and trashing the RV and leaving Burt alone with his over-sized $0 check then it might be the best ending. But if you're talking about the whole Las Vegas arc as the ending then yeah it's pretty bad.

Famous House was good but season 3 was the worst Fishtank proper. You either had repeats of previous stuff such as drink piece of shit or the cell, or you had stupid shit such as the pull-ups challenge which nobody gave a shit about. I admit that I laughed at S3 harder than any of previous seasons but imo the lows were the lowest they have ever been so far in the series and the show crashed harder than even the final week of S2. The Fish were directionless waiting on production, Alex at least was easily riled up by TTS, Burt got isolated from the rest of the Fish in the Penthouse and left to just farm TTS. Then before Famous House 2 the show crashed since they had to prepare for it, spending days cleaning and you had Jet telling the audience that it will be nontent and if you don't like it then you can fuck off. Famous House 2 was another fuck up right from the get go with the Brandon situation (Please let's not start another Brandon debate for the next 20 pages). They also cast for it looking for hot guys and girls and the result was mainly thots and fuckboys.

tl;dr, S3 was another mishandled season, just like S2

Issue with Season 2 is just how aggressively boring it became past a certain point. One could make that argument with most of Fishtank seasons, but not in the way that TJ, Shinji, Tayleigh, and Trish sitting in a house sorta boring. Not saying 1 or 3 is better, I think each season is very circumstantial and unique in their own ways with how "boring" it becomes, but I'll never forget the lows of post-Cole and eventually post-Jimmy. Borderline unwatchable unless you were invested in TJ's "storyline" or god forbid a Tayleigh fan. Probably the best Hassling of all the seasons though, and introduced the world to Greg.

Plus it doesn't matter because 2.5 was the best season anyways.

Each season has great aspects. To call any one the "best" just depends on when you started watching and what you personally like to see.

Season 1 was totally novel. Glitches and all, it was a landmark moment for online entertainment. The sterile environment put the personalities at the forefront. Very strong final act with a proper ending.
Season 2 had full theming and a house with real personality. Fans were cast which led to extra autism and noteworthy moments. Much better footage was taken, and the episodes are 10x better. Sound quality was the best so far.
Season 3 had the crazy novelty of unaware fish while still including audience participation. Production's characters were peak (Ben in particular). The reveal, Alex's wife, and the Cell were all in the top 5 moments in all of FT. Burt and Alex were the most insane contestants yet. Sam fucking with millennials is also just funnier to me.
Season 2.5 was too much of its own thing to mention, but it at least proved that larping, paid actors, and custom themed music are actually decent ideas and don't take away from anything.

I have no clue what they're going for with season 4, but it needs to have its own identity in a big way IMO. Rehashing season 2 wouldn't be fun because the fan contestants will just be trying to emulate Jimmy and Summer, soyfacing, or trying to be buddy buddy with Sam. There needs to be some more distance between the contestants and production somehow.
Editing to add that I think 2.5's music and internal storyline may be the key to making season 4 memorable and unique. IDK if that's where Jet's spaceship is coming into play, but it could be the best possible idea.
