Honestly, the only reason I'm excited for Intel's gpus are because of the transcoding possibility for Plex on a budget
You can trasncode plenty with an intel cpu and quicksync. Or buy used old quadros, or just don't transcode.

Lets compare GN (very few employees) and LTT (like over 100 employees) coverage of computex:

Don't forget that GN also manages to produce better merch, in better qualities, with near immediate fulfillment, at better prices than the guy who's put like 20 people solely into merch. Ordered one of the B-Stock modmats as a base for soldering work, grabbed another shirt, my GN ones are still in amazing condition while the LTT ones are showing more wear than I'd expect for lazy day and gym shirts. Linus's shit is closer to the mystery manufacturer shirts you can find at anime conventions than anything actually worth buying.

Took a double look at his store, and now he's just stocking $80 random business casual wear with a tiny LTT stitch in one corner of the hem. He's turning into a generic retailer in real time.

Meanwhile GN is actually looking at products, talking to companies, and producing multiple videos without having 100 employees. Here Steve has a chat with a CTO about a product and their thoughts on fan benchmarks
Meanwhile the most technical thing that Linus has looked at and posted a video for is talking about some products regarding the 12v nvidia connector crap

His stupid gold videocard slop? Where he was paid with a videocard by the manufacturer?

"The attention to detail is like I don't think I've ever seen from these guys before". While showing uneven heatsink fins, including one that's fucking bent just after taking it out of the box.
It's unreal to me that people actually think these two channels are basically identical because they both receive review units from companies. If you don't think they exist, go to /g/ and look at what people are saying about GN's nvidia corruption video. Even if we're generous and assume 50% of the posts on the board are trolling, that's still a very large number of people who believe there is basically no difference between GN and LTT.

It's an unfortunate effect of the general public being fucking retarded, and Linus just doing it for so long people assume that due to the success he must have some idea of wtf he's talking about. It doesn't help that HardOCP shut down ages ago.

There's channels even more focused and niche than GN. der8auer and igorsLAB come to mind, where you can find some pretty good content that isn't being hyped up by some rich shill leaf retard, but even these guys get a fraction of the views and subs that even GN does, because they aren't focused on RGB flashing light "gamer" bullshit.

The mullet guy creeps me out. What the fuck is going on with his neck?

Also, skimmed WAN show, Linus avoided mentioning GN in regards to bringing up the Nvidia stuff.
Then knew he was going to get exposed because they did the same preview garbage for the 3090 that just happened with the 5060, so he had to admit it but down played it saying they said it was a preview.

The majority of the Short Circuit channel is a great example of everything Steve has ever criticized them for and what Steve is worried will happen to the review industry as a whole.
People get shit for free or paid sponsorships for softball "not review, but previews"

He gets so much fucking wrong in this video. Jayztwocents did an insertion test of 12V cables and found that even after dozens of uses, you don't necessarily reduce the capabilities of the cables. In his testing, they even did a little better after reuse:

Linus also tries to say it's the add-in-board partners fault for not separating/monitoring the rails. No you dumb fuck, it's literally in the PCI 12V spec that all the pins get soldered to the same plane on the PCI card!! The ROG Astral is the only card that has individual pin monitoring and it literally breaks the spec to do it.

Derbauer did have a cable melt situation that was from an old cable (not sure which video he covered it in), but his coverage of the Seasonic PSU was way better than LTTs in every possible way:

ltt has any competent technical people or they all are fucking zoomer faggots
Ask yourself why a competent tech person would accept below market rates to work in a media sweatshop and be forced to watched the CEO parade about in his underwear. If your lucky, you'll be offered bonus hours to go to the bosses mansion and install some retarded chinesium technology into the walls.

Anyone with half a brain knows to steer clear at this point. He's staffing with midwits and blind idealists at this point, not clear and capable people.

Got a good laugh out of the newest WAN show. Linus was getting pissy that people listened to GN instead of him for "saying the same thing" (starts from 43:48 onward, direct Linus malding come from 46:32)

"Why is it getting attention now instead of when I SAID IT FIRST!" Oh I don't know Linus, maybe it was because you said it in a review and you didn't say anything about reviewers being forced to review in a certain way or kick sand, but rather just said "Nvidia doesn't give us time to review cards, and that hurts our feelings and makes us have to crunch :("

Maybe don't market your exposé about how Nvidia is mistreating content creators under the umbrella of a review for the 5060 in which title could be misconstrued as "the 5060 is a paper launch".

Maybe grow out your hair to be lusciously long and release your video directly at the time ChingChong Wong goes on stage to talk about how much AI he can stuff in his leather jacket, meanwhile some whiny soyboy is doing a sponsored video of a golden 5090 on the street to his audience of retards that (hopefully) can't buy it.

Well of course Linus is a complete fucking retard, and has no understanding of anything. Both GN and der8auer covered that ROG astral card and pointed it out, but even it still needs the stupid software running to notify you.

The real issue with these cables(in addition to the lack of monitoring which SHOULD be there when drawing that much current for cards that cost that much) was always people inserting them wrong because they were designed shitty with no tactile feel for when the cable is properly inserted. The 100 insert tests are useless to 99% of the people actually buying these cards for anything other than throwing them into a build of the week(like j2c does).

The stupidest part about 12VHPWR is that no one cared about the spec before, they shouldn't care now. Maximum the spec allowed before was 8+6 pin for 300W, all the 2x8pin or 3x8pin cards are not following spec either.

I thought the idea was that no 12VHPWR connector is going to pull the max spec of 600W, (5090) because the PCIE lane can provide 66-75W itself.

What card.you have to buy to not burn the fucking thing?
Ideally you'd skip out on the NVidiots' hardware entirely right now and buy a Radeon 9070 XT for similar performance (without counting "frame generation" because that fagshit looks like dog ass and nobody likes it) while actually getting stable drivers and connectors that aren't trying to push the physical limit of how much power you can dump through copper before it melts.

Funny enough amd fsr frame gen has similar performance to 3x frame gen in some games 1 2, I've only seen ta few reviewers talk about it and even fewer directly compare them.
Does anybody know why he keeps talking about gn on twitter? He's said that he's above drama but for the most part it seems like he wants to keep retreading the drama. Until gn begs him for forgiveness i guess.

Oh, no wonder I've been seeing way more random accounts today calling gn fake journalists and for ethics in tech media.

Was surprised LTT fans had a long enough memory to even remember they were supposed to hate Steve and why, makes more sense hearing that Linus is still crying on Twitter about it.

Its funny because all of Linus' seething and complaint s are answered in the original video. nothing Linus has shown after has meaningfully changed the original critiques.
Its like he expects no one to rewatch the video or think for themselves.
