Honestly, calling out Taylor Lorenz for being a bad journalist just seems way too easy, even for Ethan. See this is exactly what we're fucking talking about though. Immediatly any criticism of his actions is handwaved away because "Anuddah Shoah!" This isn't the own you think it is, in fact it's exactly the problem people who aren't sycophantic Dickriders like DeOrio and WillyMac have with him.

Ethan is creating these problems for himself by constantly escalating the situation. The Giardia shit never had to be public, the CPS call never had to be public, the skulls which are fishy to begin with never had to be public. At every step in this he could have de-escalated and tried to move on, but his stimulant polluted mind dictates he gets the last word, and comes off as unhinged and combative as possible. He could completely suffocate the controversy around him and the content industrial complex built off of covering it by just logging off and not mentioning these people or the situation. Instead he continuously chooses violence by trying to antagonize anybody who has any criticism for him, Israel related or not, and somehow brings it back to how he's being anti-semetically targeted for his jewishness, especially when it has nothing to do with that like his interaction with Taylor Lorenz or that Streamer bitch.

In a way isn't that kind of proving Hasan's point that he's acting crazy and paranoid? He can't admit that it's a bad thing when his side wants to murder people over their views(which is absolutely a sentiment he's on the receiving end of here) so he has to default to that. To date he's outwardly provoked two fights(to my knowledge), one with iDubbz and one with Taylor Lorenz. As far as I can tell the rest is him retaliating after being attacked. I can't blame him for refusing to back off and "quit the internet" because at this point he's in between a rock and a hard place. After attempting to bury the hatchet with Hasan and only getting fucked with harder as a result he has perfectly valid reason to believe any sign of weakness is going to be blood in the water. Of course, this is all compounding to the point where in his paranoia he probably is going to start picking more fights he doesn't need to and making more enemies he doesn't need.

I don't blame him for his reaction post 2023 but that's where the pass ends. These past 2 years have been the direct consequence of him letting his ego, his greed, and his lust for fame go straight to his head. Multiple people warned him that selling out to the political cloutsphere was going to bite him in the ass. They told him that at some point he was going to get eaten alive for not sufficiently embracing radicalism. He threw his friends under the bus and shit on his former audience. He celebrated deplatforming, political violence, and flat out domestic terrorism because he thought he was untouchable. He screwed over family and tanked the best content he'd made in years because he couldn't pay his co-host fairly, and even started siccing his audience on her after the fact. He never envisioned a scenario where he was expected to take a position he didn't agree with on an issue where he had skin in the game. Now that it happened he has no idea what to do. He can't leave the internet because content creation is his livelihood and his weird adult child clothing brand is not going to pay the bills. He can't take his content in a more positive direction because he's not capable of producing content worth watching without leaning on politics anymore. He's stuck in a hell of his own making and he has nobody to blame but himself.
