I think he genuinely believed that his foul character traits would be tolerated because he believed we had investment in him as a member due to the effort he put in on the Greta/TLL wiki. Now that he's made it known that he's 'not coming back' the next logical step any of us would take with a cow would be to obsess over his haunts and see what he does. He's deliberately baiting up because he wants to keep pretending that unlike any other lolcow he's clever and sneaky. He already mentioned that he thought this thread would be bigger and that @yawning sneasel could have done a better job.
No matter what we say or what he does this scenario will pan out in a way that he can try to claim credit for; if we follow him around and continue to post about everything he does he can pontificate on and on about his superior military prowess.
