At this point I really suspect that Nick did break her down in some way long before all this drama started and she had eyes on her. I think it's currently the "safest" target for him, seething about Aaron didn't accomplish what he wanted, he had to backpedal against Faran because she has DMs he doesn't want leaked, sperging at Keanu blew up in his face, the only thing he can do to Sean is make lazy fat jokes and seething about Josh or Eric July will never accomplish anything aside from receiving more ridicule.

I imagine he is probably thinking exactly what I thought when she said that, despite being a woman myself... women who say they're spiritual generally connotates to 'I like astrology/New Age/vague beliefs that don't adhere to actual moral structures'. Obviously I don’t think that is what K meant, and to be fair that's a hard question to answer if you have some belief in God/objective morality but aren't in organized religion.
