When a woman says something makes her "uncomfortable" in a social setting, it's this particular survival instinct activating. I'd say what makes a man feel dangerous or uncomfortable to a woman largely has to do with nonverbal mannerisms... not respecting proximity in a reasonable way, being too forward in a situation where the relationship doesn't warrant it, etc. I try to be careful with assumptions because men with autism tend to have unusual behaviors that they don't mean harm by, but can feel creepy depending on where they're at on the spectrum. Like I had a guy who I brought in to clean the carpets in my house a few months ago and he was definitely on the spectrum, very chatty, weird eye contact at times... I realized after a while, but then again I have a family member who is heavily leaning that way so I know what it looks like.

I think for example JF creeps women out for tism reasons, but in his case he's also very malignant. His social violations come with harmful intent. Nick?
