I can totally see why Nick finds this character appealing. I base it only on the clips so it may be incomplete, but:
The character can heal other people's physical wounds at the cost of his own mental suffering. He refuses to, because there is not an ounce of selflessness in him.
When he's given another shot at life, he does nothing to improve his own life, instead he makes it his goal to cause as much suffering as possible.
He's suddenly fine with using his powers to heal other people (and hurt himself in the process) if it means he can hurt them again.
Sexual assault is the first thing that he comes up with.
Despite doing all this, he is still unhappy and unfulfilled.
I'm not surprised Rekieta feels kinship with this character, they are the same sort of spiteful entitled piece of shit, the only difference is that Rekieta has absolutely no power.

My sartorial tastes, and my concern for how I look, are about absolute zero. They go pragmatic. Ordinarily, I will just wear something like a pair of jeans or chinos or even cargo pants just to have a bunch of pockets, and a T-shirt or something. You could hand me what Harvey Keitel handed Travolta and Jackson in Pulp Fiction and I'd just wear that for a couple days.

Does it not make me acutely uncomfortable? Okay, it'll do.

But if actually looking presentable is some kind of necessity, I'll go for my now vintage Brooks Brothers suits, black or navy, shirts with turk's head cufflinks (because fuck messing around with cufflinks), white or pink shirts, and a tie with a clip, and hate myself for even wearing more than is necessary for just not looking like a total pleb.
