What happened is that YOU grifted the shit out the Sophie thing for years, and fully supported Michael Long throughout the whole thing. That's basically the bedrock of your association with Elb.
In fact, here is a late video of you doing it. You even cite Elb as a source. You all but say that Sophie's biological mom is abusive trash, and that Michael was right to defy the court's order, grab Sophie, and run. The cherry on top is that, at the end of the below clip, you even bitch out the true crime wine moms that spun this whole narrative against Elb (as well as you, and others, BTW).

If Elb absconded with Michael and Sophie to Mexico City, why is it that she wasn't picked up by Mexican authorities? If she assisted Michael in any way with a kidnapping, or violating a court order, why was she not charged by U.S. authorities? Gee, I wonder why. Could it be that all she did was support Michael and Sophie similar to how YOU did, and that she at no point did anything illegal?
