The board was also attracting a bunch of underage retards with terrible opsec and was just an embarrassment in general. To us, not to Enter.

So pretty much "Enter wins by doing absolutely nothing."
Pretty much my impressions while looking into the board in Spergatory. For example, there was someone (@Reverend_Lovejoy) who invented a bullshit story about his teenage sister helping out Enter during the early days, but Enter then encouraged her to be more online and abandon her real friends and family, which led to her becoming a drug addict flunking out of high school. And only once the board was announced to be shutting down he admitted it was all bullshit to troll not just Enter and his fans, but also the board itself, even saying that the Kiwis were the biggest idiots in that situation.

This discussion also reminds me of how a section of Joon the King's documentary showed Enter's A-logs in general being not just as autistic, but much more autistic than Enter himself, such as that one guy who made a low quality video about Enter who also had what appeared to be hundreds of videos of scenes of cartoon and live action women having diarrhea uploaded on his channel, and someone else who, being "burned" by Enter's Korra review, douses himself with aloe vera. I'm not kidding with either of these examples, and I'll link to that section below:
Timestamp is 48:34

Really, the biggest enemy of Enter's A-logs back then wasn't Enter or the Enterbots (an old term back then for Enter's fans), but themselves, so even if you disagree with Enter having a redemption arc during that period, you could see why people like me would assume so. No wonder when Enter did respond it was, to quote @Kokenami, "the easiest possible layups on some of the biggest retards on the internet", and that's just in reference to the likes of Turkey Tom, Clay Claymore, and his fellow animation reviewers who criticized him, let alone the aloe vera guy or the guy with a fucking scat fetish.

And, yes, I welcome all the Islamic Content, autistic, horrifying, and other such stickers to describe such content. I would've placed all of them on this post myself if I could've.

You know, looking back at this era of the internet, it's wild to me how dumb and gay everyone was acting over what amounted to little more than disagreeing with someones opinion on the internet.

Yeah, what surprised me was how cohesive the "edgytuber" space was. Ralph, Metokur, Andy, Bearing, Sargon, even Tonka (altho Tonka was a wet blanket most of the time) everyone were best fwiends and got along. Tons of kino content was made. Then the era of betrayals began.

This is pretty standard. It seems a little more extensive in spaces that can be vaguely associated with "commentary". But most of youtube is like this nowadays. The skepticsphere was just early to it.

Think about it. Markiplier is friends with Jacksepticeye. Jacksepticeye is friends with literally every Irish gamer. Who the fuck in commentary doesn't Nicholas DeOrio talk to? Who doesn't Khuiman speak to? Look at Hermitcraft. Those faggots are all independent minecraftubers who joined their massive SMP through backroom conversations. The same is the case for almost any SMP you can name. The skeptics are not unique in that everyone knew everyone. Even the art commentary community does it. Peel back the curtain and what you will find in almost any genre is a network of discord servers, DM groups, and mutuals that creators network through.

This is the case because networking is just a good idea. Some of these groups are more insular than others. Some, like Hermitcraft, will openly cooperate with literally anyone deemed "brand safe". An easy method of gaining is mutually. Streamers who want to grow always raid out. You pick another streamer with more than 20 viewers who shares at least three characteristics with you and raid them when you're done. Stay in their chat and make friends. Congrats you're part of a community now. The mutual growth is going to hit you.

Yeah, it's just surprising considering most of those people don't care or openly hate eachother now, when it was hard to find a hint of that on old streams. Andy and PPP still like Jim but bearing is out of their orbit, Ralph hates everyone and is borderline psychotic, Sargon left skeptic-hood to do gay ops, and Jim got sick which is the only one that is defacto understandable.

If Mr. Enter were to be given an award, it would be a Copper Horseshoe Crab.

Because that perfectly personifies Mr. Enter as a creator.

Horseshoe Crabs are one of the oldest living creatures to this day, & it’s mainly because they don’t actively try to stir shit with predators, but they do have a hard shell clinging to the floor, making it hard for predators to notice or attack them.

Animals that die the quickest are the angriest animals.
For such a fierce creature as Lions are, they’re considerably weaker than a man with a gun, a Rhinoceros on a bad day, a skull shattering kick from a Giraffe, even a fucking Zebra can paralyze a Lion with a kick to the skull.

In the Zoo that is YouTube, there is many Lions that thought they were hot, only to have their Lionesses attack & abandon them, or pick on the wrong animal in the Safari.

But Mr. Enter is the Horseshoe Crab, who’s greatest strength in modern day, is doing not really that much.

So for that Johnathan Rosanski, I award you the Copper Horseshoe Crab.
For extreme resilience against bullshit, including your own.

I wouldn't call it a redemption arc so much as that Enter was never even that much of a lolcow anyway.
All things considered, you have a really solid point there. I think the worst things I can say about MrEnter is that 1) His content's not that interesting; and 2) The cartoon show he was trying to pitch to TV networks for several years was a big pile of plotholey garbage. I'd argue that his A-Logs are all much bigger lolcows than him -- especially a certain YouTuber who used to make text videos about how "autistic" he was.

That and getting inordinately angry about Spongebob and you have basically it. And that whole "angry critic" deal was kind of the thing at the time anyway.

Something about Enter's angry reviews always felt a little more sincere though. Like with his contemporaries it was crystal clear that they we were just playing a character but with Enter it felt more like a mix of that and someone genuinely sperging over a bad cartoon. Good thing he's mellowed out now though but now he kind of just comes off like a pseudointellectual dickweed like his video essays contemporaries. If there's anything you can say about Enter, it's that he knows how to adapt.

In my opinion he either has or is pretty damn close.

Also on an unrelated note, I rewatched Enter’s deleted COVID videos and the PSA one (particularly the Steven Universe PSA part). It’s been five years and almost everything he said turned out to be correct. I applauded his brief red pill arc then and I applaud it now. Sucks that he changed course on everything he said only for the sake of keeping his image clean.
I couldn't believe how based (and correct) he was about all that covid stuff. In fact, everything he said in those live streams was pretty close to my own views - Which made me question myself. I thought "Wait... If I'm agreeing with Mr. Enter, something is wrong here. I may be wrong."

You're dead on about him changing course to save his image, though - Which is a shame, but I can't say he had a choice. You can get away with the "wrong" opinion in a lot of circles, but the whole cartoon/nerd side of pop-culture is 100% ravenous turbo-leftists. If you want a career in that space, you can't be saying something as dangerous and heckin' unwholesome as "Maybe the 6 feet thing was kind of performative, and lock-downs are causing suicides."

Saberspark has apparently given a more in-depth version of his side with more evidence. Enter recently held a stream discussing the video and Saber's apparent exoneration.
Cope and Seethe's video showing Saber's evidence:
Enter's Stream:
Seems like he believes Saber is innocent now and likely resents how he gave Emily a platform. He's also looking to do a short addendum video on the subject

Enter recently held a stream discussing the video and Saber's apparent exoneration.
So, I understand Mr. Enter is on the spectrum. He's inherently going to struggle with reading the intentions, motives, and moods of other people. But there were a lot of people pointing out that Emi was mentally ill and very likely just being vindictive. They pointed this out because she had a long, continual history of lying and manipulating. How can someone, even someone on the spectrum, ignore that? Be so naive as to platform her and believe she's acting in good faith?

Maybe I'm just jaded, but when I see the red flags of mental illness, I treat that person like an overgrown toddler. I'm not going to be a dick to them. I'm not gonna harass them. But I'm not gonna believe a word out of their mouth, and I sure as hell wouldn't risk my reputation by giving them a megaphone and trusting them not to spout nonsense. I've known people just like Emi in real life. One person in particular, I've known over 20 years. They don't change. They never change. If they could change, they wouldn't be mentally ill. They don't act rationally and their motives aren't logical. I'd hope John takes this as a life lesson that sometimes you really should judge someone based on their past and save yourself the trouble of earning another "Fell for it again" ribbon.
